I live in an area with frequent power outages, so I use a nut configuration [1]
which shuts down the system using a timer rather than waiting for LB status.
Important: It requires a UPS unit capable of

[patch] Improved error checking for the dovecot-antispam-plugin
Hi,
Hopefully this is the right channel for such a patch. I have a minor
enhancement to submit for the antispam plugin
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-antispam-plugin
It adds minimal error checking for the sendmail_binary, otherwise the
reported error in case of a missing binary or one with missing
permissions is generic and not useful.
Thanks,
Robert

Wouldn't su ask for the login password? This is not practical in rc.local.
In addition user nut doesn't have a login password.

antispam plugin problem with dspam
I'm trying to use the dovecot antispam plugin with dspam.
I'm running dovecot 1.1.2.
Using thunderbird and IMAP, when I drag a spam message from the inbox
into the SPAM folder, I get a popup saying "The current command did not
succeed. The mail server responded: antispam signature not found.
When I look at the message in the maildir folder, I see the dspam

Nut and UPSes+ATSes
Is there any documentation somewhere about how NUT can incorporate
automatic transfer switches into its monitoring and operational
framework to provide more comprehensive operational functionality?

Do you have a recommendation for a battery charger? Or a list of features to look for?

Here is some free coincidental trivia.
I was a sysadmin for the server behind batterywholesale.com for about 10 years. It was part time work. The couple behind the company have since sold the business and retired. I'm still

Keeping the traffis on or off the list ?
I'd bet the following is news to nobody.
Some of us Dislike setting Reply-To: at all.
If it exists, there's an expectation that it should be followed. Some
folks will want to reply to the sender, others to the list. So no
matter which way is chosen, one group will be disappointed. An email

Power Down ESXi before SAN
I have 2 APC UPS systems, one is connected to my ESXi host and the other to
my FreeNAS. The battery for the FreeNAS will run out before the battery
for the ESXi, so I need ESXi to shutdown first. If I wait until
BatteryLow on ESXI, it will be too late as FreeNAS will have already
shutdown. How can I change the configuration on ESXI to shutdown after a
small delay so that it is done before

Sounds like great advice, thanks!
Would you care to post it to the NUT wiki or in-source FAQ document (or
can I)?
Probably the meaningfulness of specific company names is too
geographically and temporally limited, however the technical part is
universally applicable.

Good Day,
I am not 100% certain if here is the right place to bring this up, however
if this is the wrong place for this please redirect me to right place.
A few weeks ago I was trying to install KVM on my laptop, I bought a new
laptop and immediately after I install the nVidia drivers I receive the
