How to list IP used by domU
Hello, I''m trying to script a tool that return all the @ip for all the domU I have. Is it possible to have those informations from within the dom0 ? (maybe by connecting to the domU from the dom0 ?) Cyrus vs Dovecot
First of all : forgive me for my poor English Hello all, I've to compare cyrus with dovecot for my work. Because these are the only solutions that could fit our needs. Unfortunately I really don't know a lot about dovecot and I would like to have some of its assets. Here are the properties of the versus table I've done : dovecot cyrus Installation: Update: Migration from cyrus

read only FS access
Hello, I would like to know if it's possible to subscribe to a folder that is on a read only File System ? We have a snapshot mechanism that create a .snapshot directly in the user folder. This is done by our NAS and we would like to give an access to this backup to our users. Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... benchmark dovecot
Hello, We would like to do a feed back to this active mailing list. We are working on a migration project from cyrus to dovecot. And we have just completed the benchmark sequence. As I say, this benchmark is here only to show that our old imap server is out to date. I would not be the source of controversy at all, so I try to explain my approach. Because the only thing I found was this old

Heartbeat OCF ressource agent
Hello, I've tried to write an OCF ressource agent in order to manage by the heartbeat way a dovecot server. It seems to work fine. This kind of script could be found in the directory on a CentOS release 5.2 : /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/ If the attachement isn't working, I've cut and paste the script here :

DO NOT REPLY [Bug 2294] Detect renamed files and handle by renaming instead of delete/re-send
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2294 ------- Comment #12 from phr-samba at nightsong.com 2011-01-28 20:38 CST ------- Hi, I was about to enter a similar suggestion to this. My very frequent use case is moving files from one directory to another. In that situation the file name does not change--just the directory path leading to it. These are often quite large files (0.2 to

robust correlation in R
Dear R user group, I'm looking for a robust mesure of correlation in R. I found a very interesting article by Dr Rich Herrington on http://www.unt.edu/benchmarks/archives/2001/december01/rss.htm and I'd like to implement exaclty this method but my problem is that everything is here developped in R language and is very slow when the correlation matrix is important. I'm wondering if

"merging" folders Sent-Items Sent-Messages Sent
I have a running server and would like to clean up a bit, and merge sent folders and trash folders etc. Is this best done via the mailbox alias plugin like mentioned here? Or is there a better way? I prefer to have one folder listed at the client, and not "Unfortunately it also means that some clients will download the same mails to local cache multiple times."

sent message not always saved in imap sent folder
Users who have their sent folder on the imap server report that sometimes a sent message is saved locally instead of on the server. This is the error from evolution: Error while performing operation. Sent vs Sent Items
Religious wars about which is "best" aside - some mail clients seem to default to using "Sent Items" folder for saving sent mail, and others (many) default to "Sent". Seems that in the interests of compatibility and "doing the right thing" (tm) that a symlink from one folder to the other name would ensure that either default would give the same result

Granting SSH access to a Ruby on Rails user
I installed Rails and Rubygems on a web server for a customer who wants to install a Ruby on Rails application that he developped. He needs SSH access to interact with Ruby, so I''ll have to grant him access, but I want him to only play around in his /home directory, as this server also hosts other customers. How could I do that? Thanks, -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Saving Sent Messages to Sent Folder
Hi Timo, There was another thread (it has come up at least a few times in the past few years I've been lurking) on the postfix list about having some kind of automatic 'Save to Sent' option to avoid the users mail client from having to upload messages twice (obviously the only ones of concern are ones with large attachments) - once to send it, and once to save the copy in the sent

Moving from Splus to R: irregular and regular time series
Dear R developpers, I am a user of Splus since many years and I have developped lots of functions to plot graph of data and model results of irregular or regular times series. In Splus regular times series are created using the rts function and irregular time series using the its functions. In both cases, times is given as a numeric vector. There is no problem in plotting a regular and an
