10.04 Ubuntu
Hi, Chauk-Mean and all - I have just ported everything to 10.04 ubuntu, and I am pleased to note that I was able to use prepackaged stuff almost everywhere. installing on X86_64 - unable to build
hi wxrubiers firstly - im right in understanding there is no gem for x86_64? failing that i''ve been trying to compile, but am failing because ld cant find lwx_gtk2u_aui-2.8 im on ubuntu (gutsy) and have wx-windows2.8 headers installed as well as libwxbase2.8dev and libwxgtk2.8-dev can anyone help? thanks glenn

Segmentation Fault.
Hi there, I am relative new to the wxRuby so please bear with me. I use Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 release. I have installed the wxwidgets C libraries and then did a gem install wxruby The ruby extensions were downloaded and installed correctly. If i do $gem list --local .. wxruby (1.9.7) .. Then I tried to run a simple example "Hello World" as described in the tutorial

Problem running Samples
Hi. I''m desperately trying to learn Ruby and wxWidgets, on my 64-bit Linux machine. 'force create mode' not working when 'unix extensions = yes'
The parameters 'force create mode' and 'force directory mode' have no effect when the option 'unix extensions' is active. The documentation does not report any interaction between the unix extensions and the forced modes, so I'm assuming it's a bug.I'd like to know if it is a known bug ?Has it been solved, if so in which version ?
