Adding new storage
Hello,
I am about to add more storage to the mail server and would like to
know if it is as simple as it sounds..? I have:
dovecot.conf
mail_location: maildir:~/Maildir/
and
/etc/dovecot/dovecot-ldap.conf with:
user_attrs = sAMAccountName=mail=maildir:/home/vmail/%Ud/%Ln/Maildir/
So all the mail gets stored at /home/vmail/%Ud/%Ln/Maildir/ so if i
add a new volume to the VM lets say

Logistic regression with more than two choices
Dear all R-users,
I am a new user of R and I am trying to build a discrete choice model (with
more than two alternatives A, B, C and D) using logistic regression. I have
data that describes the observed choice probabilities and some background
information. An example below describes the data:
Sex Age pr(A) pr(B) pr(C) pr(D) ...
1 11 0.5 0.5 0 0
1 40 1 0 0 0
0 34 0 0 0 1
0 64 0.1 0.5 0.2 0.2

nut vs. ModemManager and device stealing
Hi,
I'd like to know your opinion for bug
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=544121
Recently serial connected UPSes stopped working because ModemManager steals
tty devices (it tries to open every tty device to check if there is modem
sitting there), this means device is blocked for about 10 seconds. This
prevents nut daemon to start. I've reassigned bug against ModemManager

6.3 missing updates and packages
Hi,
The fact that apparently the last tigervnc update from upstream was
missed triggered me to check for missing updates and packages in 6.3.
Here are my results. Sorry for any false positives that might have crept
in, but note that some of the 6_x updates actually are updates and not a
parsing error. And perhaps an occasional false positive due to having to
compare upstream SRPMS vs downstream

Wine and Windows 2000
I had the latest wine running under winblows 98 SE for a week or two with no
problems, then I installed winblows 2000 and now I cannot get wine to work.
It is important for me to get it running again since I run United Devices
cancer research agent (http://members.ud.com) 24/7 to help them find a cure
for cancer. Is wine compatible with Win2k, or will I need to re-install 98
again?

[fdo] Authenticating/verifying freedesktop projects source
Hi,
I would like to recompile a version of ModemManager supporting the Voice
interface. That is why I have to use the source code from the master
branch and not the 1.4 version. This also requires me to download libqmi
from a repository, because 1.12 is too old for this. How do I verify the
source?
Unfortunately:
- nor git commits, nor tags seem to be signed,
- HTTPS-accessible source

Page() Function Timeout
I'm trying to use a simple page function. It starts a MeetMe conference
with the devices I've listed, but the devices hang up after 3-5 seconds.
After doing some research I found this was a problem, and I needed to
remove a (5) from app_page.c
Well, my app_page.c didn't have the (5). I did make clean; make install
again just in case I had some weird compiled version installed that

United Devices
Hi.
Does somebody here know that research project United Devices where
molecules are testet of their interaction with proteins that are
included in the growth of cancer?
Well, there's a nice Windows-program you can use for that, but nothing
else - there's no software so you can take part of that research running
under Linux.
Today I tried to get it run with WinE. But I failed.

Eeek, my centos6 box won't boot after broken update, need help w/ yum
Hello there,
I think I've shutdown my box right in the middle of a yum update.. The
latest kernel installed won't simple boot, and the old one can, but
only in init 3 mode (tty).
From a console, I wanted to complete the yum update and it suggested me
to do a `yum-complete-transaction`.
yum-complete-transaction tells me that 447 elements are left to run in 1
transaction, runs and show

Estimado Jorge
Perdóneme que lo moleste de nuevo, hay otra condición además de que
sum(y)=1 y es que
y[1] tiene que dar 0
en el ejemplo
y<- c (0.0000000000, 0.6321985783, 0.2325728597, 0.0855587737, 0.0314753138,
0.0115791209, 0.0042597205, 0.0015670636, 0.0005764905,
0.0002120790)
y[1]=0
sum(y)=1
esto se utiliza en el paquete EpiEstim donde se
