Hi all, still again here...
I'm doing some working to start the Italian translation job (build a
glossary and share some good rules to approach translation task)
I've analyzed the wiki software (MoinMoin) and found it extremely
useful and simple
and I'm trying to get in touch with the it-translator-team of that platform.
I've two questions :

Print from wine
I'm running debian sarge and have installed wine with "apt-get" (wine
20041201). Afterwards I configurated it with winetools. Everything went
fine. I also installed the Internet Explorer and Office 2000.
There were no problems during the installation and IE and Office run without
problems besides printing. There I get error messages like "no printer
installed".

Italian Translation Team
hi,
my name is Andrea Veri and I'm currently involved into GNOME as the chairman of the GNOME Membership Committee and as a GNOME accounts manager.
I had a look at the centos wiki and did not find any information written in italian. I'm therefore here to start an italian translation team and maybe get a valid it.centos.org area dedicated to centos written in the italian language. (of

mistake in Italian translation
Hi all.
I'm not sure I should send this here, but the link to the Italian
Traslation Team is dead here:
http://developer.r-project.org/TranslationTeams.html
I've found an annoying mistake in the italian traslation of a base
error message:

Italian translation proposal
Hello,
as I see @ http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS6.0
there isn't any italian translation link.
If there is no guy already involved for this, I'm available to help
with it for both CentOS 6.0 and upcoming 5.7.
And for other content too.
Let me know how to proceed if interested.
Thanks

Problem with a new italian service provider...
I've a problem connecting uniVoice (http://voice.uni.it) from asterisk.
Using my account data I can place a call smoothly using xlite or my
budgetone phone directly, but I'm not able to use uniVoice as a peer
from asterisk.
Registration seems to work correctly, but when I try do dial, the sip
authentication fails every time.
Their tech people told me that they are unable to make

RSS News Feed
Tom,
Can you/someone get a news feed setup for shorewall announcements? If
not, I''ll have to make use of the shorewall rss feeds at SF.
Project RSS Feeds: shorewall

BTW, planetplanet.org has links to some cool feeds.

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hi all, I'm Trevi?o (AKA Trevinho, AKA 3v1n0, AKA trevi55 ;P) it's my
first message here, also if I'm reading the ML from the archives since
long time...
I maintened a beryl-svn (then git) repository, and I'm planning to do
the same as soon as I can for compiz-git (BTW, some pre-release
packages are at http://tinyurl.com/396up9),

[PATCH] Update and Fix Italian Language
The Italian po file provided with Compiz misses some strings and imho
isn't translated so well, so I've revised it at all, to get a better
localization.
Attached there's the patch file.

truncated regression out-of-sample predictions
Dear all,
I am trying to implement Simar & Wilson's (2007) second algorithm and
have the following question: If I use a truncated regression on the m<n
observations, how do I get fitted values for all n observations, instead
of for m observations, which is what the command fitted returns; I would
need these to construct the left-truncation needed to draw n random
deviates.
