Samba AD DC + external DHCP + BIND9_DLZ dynamic dns updates doesn't work for domain members.
Dear All, I have a setup with samba acting as active directory domain controller, DNS updates are done via bind DLZ. I have recompiled it to allow spnego. DHCP server is external, no changes in it are possible. Domain members try to register in the DNS, KDC is aware of them, however no DNS entries for them are created and BIND returns errors. Any hints are welcome since I really need it working.

Gluster deamon fails to start
As far as the peer status (and I now remember seeing this earlier) the issue appears to be that the host name for gsaov07 is attempting to resolve over the wrong network for gluster "ent...." and not "stor.local". So, it may be as simple as removing gsaov07 as a peer, then probing over the correct network. I'll follow up with the Engine log. Sent using OWA for iPhone

Gluster deamon fails to start
Thank you for your response. There has been no change of IP addresses. And I have tried restarting the glusterd service multiple times. I am using fully qualified names with a DNS server that has forward and reverse setup. Something I had noticed is that, with oVirt, communication is being attempted over the VM network, rather than storage network. Which is not how the bricks are defined. Not sure

Getting Started with Digium T100/E100 cards
Just purchased a couple of T100 and E100 cards in order to interface from our company's proprietary system through a linux gateway. I am new to Asterisk and Digium. After installing the T100 card, I went looking for drivers for this card. Are the drivers built into the Asterisk application? If so, how do I enable the card through Asterisk? Are there any good getting started documents for a

Using a Cisco 7960G
Is anyone using the subject phone without the proprietary call setup equipment? How do you configure this phone to use the * pbx? I am hoping to go out and buy a couple of phones but the dealer here says I need to spend another $15K or so for the call manager equipment. R suitability for development project
Hello All, Eric Langley here with my first post to this list. I am looking to determine if R is suitable for a development project I am working on and if so possibly finding someone proficient in R that would be interested in doing the coding. I would like to preface my inquiry that while I am not a programmer I can communicate in a dialog my objectives. An array of rank ordered data looks like

Gluster deamon fails to start
glusterd failed to resolve addresses of the bricks. This could happen either because of glusterd was trying to resolve the address of the brick before the N/W interface was up or a change in the IP? If it's the latter then a point to note is that it's recommended that cluster should be formed using hostname otherwise if the server goes through IP change we have to change the configuration

Script/Runner
I have a production site that has a couple of batch jobs, I have used script/runner and cron to run these jobs. This works ok for jobs that only run once overnight during off peak. I am expiring sessions older than 30 mins every 15 mins using script/runner, but I''m concerned about the hit of script/runner loading up the whole rails environment, specifically since I only have a 256MB

Using OH323 and Gatekeeper
Hello all, Please forgive me if this sounds a little (or a lot) ignorant as I am very new to asterisk. Right now I have two pc's connected back to back through an E100 card running asterisk. I have openh323 running as well and I am able to route calls through the E1 line. Next up I would like to be able to register asterisk with a gatekeeper. On another computer is running openGK. Using

[PATCH 0/3] inspection: tweak limits of package manager files
I got a recent report of virt-v2v (via virt-p2v) failing to migrate a Fedora guest. The issue was that its /var/lib/rpm/Packages was bigger than our current limit (~410M vs 300M), hence the inspection failed. I took the liberty to refactor the limits of the these files, bumping the problematic one, and reducing the ones of the others (as they are supposed to be way smaller than the limit). Pino

CentOS Install From Scratch on XFS File System
I'm thinking about switching to CentOS 4.4 x86_64 from another RH based version. However, I need to install it from scratch and I need EVERYTHING (including /boot & /) on XFS file systems. Does the default installer allow this? If not, how difficult would it be to make the necessary changes. I've done a lot of Google searching and searching of the CentOS site, but haven't found

[LLVMdev] Matching icmp/fcmp in a back-end
Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to match the icmp and fcmp assembly language instructions in the code generator. For example, for the following code: %cmp = icmp sgt i32 %tmp, %tmp1 ; <i1> [#uses=1] br i1 %cmp, label %if.then, label %if.else We would like to see something like: SGT cmp, tmp, tmp1 BR cmp lbl However, I can't see any case in the back-ends

[LLVMdev] Removing the constant pool
Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to stop floating-point constants being converted to use the constant pool? As for our back-end we would like to be able to treat floating point constants the same way integer constants are treated instead of having to go via the constant pool. Thanks for your help, Rob - This message is subject to Imagination Technologies' e-mail terms:
