[PATCH] Allow manual pages and POD files to be translated.
You need to install po4a (in Fedora) to test this. [PATCH] build: ensure .pot and .pod files for docs are up-to-date
Traverse the po-docs directory before the subdirectories with translated documentations, so we can make sure that libguestfs-docs.pot and the translated .pod files have been generated. As a consequence of that, when generating the translated manpages for documentations, all the needed .pod files should be already there. --- po-docs/Makefile.am | 6 +++++- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 1

more PO files available at the TP
Hi, At the translationproject there are four more languages available than are included in the 1.42.10 tarball: Danish, Esperanto, Malay, and Ukrainian. Please include these in your next release. Attached patch adds the missing language codes to the po/LINGUAS file. The easiest way to fetch the missing files (and the latest updates) is to run: rsync -Lrtvz

[v2v PATCH 00/14] Adaptations to Weblate
We are migrating to Weblate (the Fedora instance, in particular) for translations instead of Zanata. Adapt our tooling a bit to the different workflow: - Weblate takes care of updating the po files whenever a new translation catalog is available, so stop doing that on our own: this meant also tweaking the po4a usage for POD documentations, resulting in simpler rules (IMHO) - ensure that the

Translations using Weblate
Hi, with the changes done last week in libguestfs and virt-v2v, we are now using Weblate as our translation infrastructure; in particular, we are using the Fedora instance: https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/libguestfs/ I set up all the various components required, i.e. messages and docs for libguestfs and virt-v2v. The docs components are "linked" to the components of the

Release planning for vorbis-tools
Hi all, the latest release of vorbis-tools was almost four years ago. Are there any plans to release a new version? I'm the German translator of vorbis-tools at translationsproject.org, and my translation resides there for more than three years. Recently I've updated it. Moreover, some more new and updated translations have arrived, so it would be worth to roll out a new version.

german translation
Hello dear R-core, I would be willing to offer some spare time to generate a german translation of R.pot and RGui.pot. Do you still need a translator or does someone already work on that task? (I hate useless duplication of efforts.) To whom shall I send the de.po file? Or should I generate a diff against the latest svn sources? What's your standard procedure for these cases? Are there

[PATCH] po-docs: turn language list into LINGUAS file
Use a LINGUAS file with the list of available translations instead of defining them in a make variable. This way Weblate will be able to update the list using an available addon, and we do not need to list those not built. Accordingly, rename the variable with built languages to 'linguas_translated'. hivex: lintain being pedantic about spelling!
Thanks very much for the responses on my last three issues. I've incorporated the appropriate changes into the budding Debian package. I feel embarrassed to raise this one, but in the interests of shutting lintian up maybe this could be fixed at some point: I: hivex: spelling-error-in-manpage usr/share/man/man1/hivexregedit.1.gz reencode re-encode I: libhivex-perl: spelling-error-in-manpage

translation
Dear Sir/Madam I am a BSc student studying statistics in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad,Iran. Translating R messages to Farsi is my thesis and I have already downloaded *poEdit*  to translate those messages. However, the created .mo files for R.pot and RGui.pot are not useful at all. I would like to be informed if there is something wrong with right-to-left encoding or Farsi fonts or Farsi support.

[PATCH 1/2] build: isolate common po-docs logic
Move most of the content of either po-docs/ja/Makefile.am or po-docs/uk/Makefile.am to po-docs/language.mk, and use it exclusively instead of the former contents of the languange-specific Makefile.am. This way, either adding a new documentation or enabling a new language will not require copying over the same make code. --- po-docs/ja/Makefile.am | 174 +-------------------------------------------
