Application Queue context that calls the extensions
Hello!
I wonder what the default context that the Queue application uses to call
extensions. If there is a possibility to change this into a context created
by me possible? Would you like to get this load value to variables before
calling the extension.
tks,
Eduardo

Problem reload queue dynamical members
Guys, I have a problem. I have a queue on asterisk 1.8 that members are
added dynamically via the AMI QueueAdd. When you run the CLI a
"reload app_queue.so" all members who were in the queue disappear. This is
a bug or some parameter that I do not know?
Would have another way to do the reload queue without any risk to members
who are already in it?

Queue wrapuptime as Global option
Hello,
The call center I manage previously had almost all calls entering a
single queue. In order to differentiate the calls to the techs we set
the callerid name based on the caller id number offered to us.
Basically, it was a gosubif the callerid number matches this, and in
the sub we set the callerid name to a certain value.
We've been slowly moving some clients into separate queues

how does "wrapuptime" work in queue.conf
Hi list,
I'd like to have the callers to listen to the advertisement (music on
hold) before the agents answer them. So, I have wrapuptime=10 in
queue.conf, but the call still goes straight to the agents without
delay.
Here's my queue.conf:
[general]
persistentmembers = yes
[738]
musiconhold = empty
;musiconhold = default
;announce = q-738
;strategy = ringall
strategy = rrmemory

Asterisk CPU use
Hello, working in a call center where we set up a structure in asterisk.
When my voip reaches 150 calls are with bad quality. We do not transcode
codec. What I realized using the top command server (CentOS) processing is
too high for the asterisk. But the general processor server is down. Would
any limitation of Asterisk to use more hardware resources?

wrapuptime?
Hi!
Trying to understand how wrapuptime is working...
I have written a small php script that let agents log in/out
off a queue. That part is working as a clock but wrapuptime
is not doing what I expect.
Input Interi?r - Queue Manager
0317998989 has 0 calls (max unlimited) in 'rrmemory' strategy (5s
holdtime, 94s talktime), W:0, C:8, A:1, SL:0.0% within 0s

Limit Asterisk
people
I have a running Asterisk 1.8.28 in great Dell server with two xeon
processors and 16gb of ram and HD SAS 15k (Raid 1). This server is
recording all calls (placed to record the audio in a ram disk), the entire
CDR goes straight to MySQL by cdr_mysql.so. Each call runs some validation
and AGI's have an auto dialer system that generates calls over the manager.

I have a question about global variables. Is it possible to somehow keep
global variables unset via Dial Plan even Restarting asterisk?

AgentCallBackLogin - stopping
Good afternoon, I have a server still using Asterisk 1.4.44, it has not
been done migrating to a more updated.
My problem is in AgentCallBackLogin. When many people (more than 100) try
to run it at the same time, the application simply hangs or is extremely
slow. It takes anywhere from four minutes just to ask for the password of
the agent.
I thought I might be missing hardware, but both the CPU

problem with ringinuse=no, queue members receive randomly two calls
Dear all
on a debian amd64 i've installed (from source) asterisk 1.4.30
On the system we have in average 50 concurrent calls in queue and 40
sip members.
I'm experiencing an apparently random problem:
sometimes some users receive 2 calls from asterisk, apparently
ignoring the ringinuse=no settings.
It appears on users that are members of many queues
As you can see from the log, the

pause between queue calls for agents
Hi,
I want to setup a pause/break between calls coming from a queue to an agent.
If an agent is logged in only in one queue the wrapuptime parameter works. But
what can I do if the same agent is in more then one queue?
I found no parameter to configure a pause after a (incomeing) call and the
next call
(asterisk CVS-HEAD-04 / polycom ip500 sip phones)
thanks a lot for help

Call queue problem
Hi all,
We have an 8 agent support desk setup with 2 call queues running
Asterisk 1.4.5. Every so often agents will receive a call from the
queue that only rings once not allowing them time to answer. The call
doesn't seem to be dropped, just seems to go to voicemail. The agents
are also mentioning they do not receive the 30 second wrapuptime I have
specified in queues.conf. We're

Double queue calls being delivered to agents
I posted this over in asterisk-dev, realized I probably should have put it here.
Hi there,
We?ve been having a strange issue with a customer?s queues where a queued call will ring an available agent, agent answers, then a second or two later the agent is offered a second call which they cannot answer, since they?re already speaking with a client.
This in turn causes a few issues:

Queue announcing hold sequence instead of hold time
Hi,
We recently updated from an early Asterisk 1.2 SVN to 1.2.15 (on Debian
Sarge) and the behaviour of our Call Centre queues has changed slightly.
Before the upgrade, when a caller was waiting in the queue, the
estimated hold time was announced as expected ("estimated hold time is
less than 2 minutes ...").
Now the caller gets an announcement of their sequence in the queue

asterisk 1.4.21.2 a caller waited in queue, after connect to agent hears silence
Hi all!
My problem is that calls being placed in the queue, and are waiting
while the agents are busy, when an
agents is then free they gets connected to the agent but there is
silence (no voice).
If a caller has not to wait in the queue, there is no problem.
My agents have an iax2 client, and imcoming calls are over SIP.

AMI - Getting Event of QueueAgents WrapupTime State
Hi @ all,
in the reason on having some agents logged in in more than one queues I need to get the state if an Agent goes in
Postprocessing State to do this for this Agent in all other Queues he is logged on.
For this I tried to catch this Event above the AMI. But there is never thrown the QueueMemberPaused or AgentComplete Event
and in all the QueueMemberStatus Events the Agent never has the

Hi,
I have 1.2.9.1 installed. It always rings first available agents for 15

ring the next agents for 15 seconds. It goes as a loop. Any one has the
