remote forwarding in 2.9p2
Hi,
It looks like remote forwarding with SSH v2 is not working
on my Solaris machines (and from what I understand from the
source, it may not work elsewhere either).
When looking at channel_post_port_listener() in channels.c,
I found that nextstate was defined as :
nextstate = (c->host_port == 0) ? SSH_CHANNEL_DYNAMIC :
SSH_CHANNEL_OPENING;
And later comes the call :

uninitialized constant Facter::IPAddress (NameError)
I just started getting this error on some machines after a yum update
from centos 5.2 to centos 5.3. Does anyone know what it means? Since
I''m not a ruby person, I''m not sure how to debug this, but it looks to
me like facter is having trouble parsing information about my
interfaces.

Trouble Ticket System
Hi,
Last year, I tried to installed and evaluate the following OSS web base trouble ticketing system. This is for me to track history on our IT related issues. Those that I tried are the PHP Ticket, DanPHPSupport, Epix Power Support, ruQueue, Ticket Express, OTRS, PMOS Help Desk and eTicket. From those, PMOS and eTicket are my top picks. I have problem installing OTRS the last time, so I am

arima.sim help
I am trying to simulate time series data for an ar(1) and ma(1) process. I want the error term to have either a t distribution with 1 degree of freedom or a normal distribution with mean=0 and sd=1. Here is my code:
error.model=function(n){rnorm(n,mean=0, sd=1)}
data<-arima.sim(model=list(ar=c(0.1)), n=1000,
n.start=200, start.innov=rnorm(200,mean=0, sd=1),
rand.gen=error.model )

Why not pulseaudio?
Pulseaudio works great in wine using the modified wine from the Neill Aldur ppa. Tried everything else (padsp, pasuspender, blah) and nothing would work reliably. Some crashes when another application outputs sound, sometimes the sound does not work at all, sometimes it is awfully slow or with latency varying while recording, leading to unpredictable offsets in recorded files.

IE Problem with document.getElementsByTag
Does anyone know if IE has a limit to how many object
document.getElementsByTag can return? The main problem is that
getElementsByClassName is not working on my page with IE but it works with
Firefox. I''ve traced it back to the document.body.getElementsByTag(''*'')
command. While inspecting the length Firefox returns 465. In IE the length
alert returns [object]. When I
