Problema de compilacion con Rcpp
Hola,
necesito compilar un programa de tipo source (Rstan) con c++
La propia web del programa indica como hacerlo con Rcpp. Sin embargo no
consigo que funcione Rcpp ni con un ejemplo básico.
He seguido las instrucciones que vienen en

Error in Rcpp/inline (Windows XP)
Hi, everyone,
I am just trying to use Rcpp in my computer, and I would like to try a
simple example from website, but R keeps reporting me error. I am using
Windows XP, and has installed Rtools and GSI.
Here is the response:

+ Rcpp::NumericVector xa(a);
+ Rcpp::NumericVector xb(b);
+ int n_xa = xa.size();
+ int n_xb = xb.size();

+ Rcpp::NumericVector xab(n_xa + n_xb - 1);

compiling Rcpp with 3.0.1 on Solaris 10
Hello
My colleagues asked me to install "R" with module "shiny".
R version 3.0.1 compiled fine on Solaris 10 and is running well.
I tried to install "shiny". With the dependencies "Rcpp" should be installed before. But the compile step did fail. See below.
The initial error message is "Error in dyn.load(file, DLLpath = DLLpath, ...) :"

Porting from Linux to Windows
I intend to port an R project from Linux to Windows.
It involves C code that is loaded via dyn.load().
I could manage to produce a 'dll' File using cygwin which seems to be
o.k.
Now, using dyn.load("pcr.dll") i get:
Error in dyn.load(x, as.logical(local), as.logical(now)) :
unable to load shared library
"c:/cygwin/home/pingu/rt-pcr/pcr.dll":

Setting up a windows system for rcpp
I am running into a wall getting my system to work with rcpp and inline.
Following Dirk's advice on stackoverflow, I hope someone is able to help
me.
My steps were to install MinGW 32 bit first, then installing Rtools, I
disabled MinGW's entry in the PATH.
I am trying to get the following code to work:
library(Rcpp)
library(inline)
body <- '
NumericVector xx(x);

Error using Rcpp
Hi, Im not sure if this is the right place to post this. I am using Xubuntu
Karmic Koala and am trying to use the Rcpp package. I am testing it using a
simple code that takes in a vector and adds 1 to each element:
#include <Rcpp.h>
// This file takes in a vector and adds one to each entry
RcppExport SEXP addone(SEXP vec){
// create a local copy of vec

How to resolve include Rcpp.h problems?
Hi,
I am Linux Ubuntu 9.04 user. I'm using R-2.6.
Actually, I am developing R package for reading/writing 3D images. I needed
to use the R package Rcpp in order to make profit of available C/C++ codes.
My problem is that my C code is not able to include the Rcpp.h
In fact, when I run this command R CMD build rply, I got the following error
message in the file

Simple class with an automatic printing issue
I don't understand the following behavior for a simple S3 class. The
auto-printing at the command line
doesn't behave as I expect. I'm probably missing something, but it might be
a bug.

ssh-keygen listing fingerprints little unclear
Since ssh-keygen is not listing the _types_ of keys I have in my file,
wouldn't it be a good idea to make the -t switch filtering out the
selected type of key when doing a listing with -l?
i.e. in this case I see both rsa1, rsa, and dss keys:
$ ssh-keygen -l -f ~/.ssh/known_hosts

S3 objects in S4 slots
Hello,
I am the maintainer of the stringkernels package and have come across
a problem with using S3 objects in my S4 classes.
Specifically, I have an S4 class with a slot that takes a text corpus
as a list of character vectors. tm (version 0.5) saves corpora as
lists with a class attribute of c("VCorpus", "Corpus", "list"). I
don't actually need the

Creating a reference class object from a class definition in a package fails
Hi,
I'm trying to create a package that contains reference class
definitions from which users can create reference objects, but there
seems to be something awry.
My toy example creates an empty package via
package.skeleton('TestClass') to which I add the following R code:
TestClass <- setRefClass('TestClass',fields=c('name'))
Unfortunately my R console output

R CMD check --force-multiarch does not install all the archs for testing
Hi,
Why isn't 'R CMD check --force-multiarch' installing the package
for all the architectures that are going to be checked?
For some packages, it only installs for the default arch ('i386').
Then testing the package for 'x64' fails.
For example,
Output of R CMD check --force-multiarch fabia_1.5.0.tar.gz:

slot assignment in S4 classes
Hi R friends,
I'm still studying S4 classes and I have a question about slot assignment. Why would I have to use a special setter method [example 2 below] if I can assign data to a slot directly when I call new() [example 1 below]?
## first way to do it (the idiosyncratic way?)
setClass(Class = "TestClass", representation = representation(myDf = "data.frame"))

Reference Classes: Generalizing Reference Class Generator objects?
Is it possible to override the $new(...) in the reference class
generator? I have tried adding a "new" method to the methods of the
class, but that is obviously not correct. I have also tried adding it to
the class generator, but the class generator still uses the default
constructor.
As a simple example, this is the current interface:
TestClass <- setRefClass

Lost in S4 and S3 classes
Hi all, this is my first post in R devel? sorry if I lost some of the guidelines.
Anyway this is my problem:
Version:
R version 2.15.2 (2012-10-26)
Platform: x86_64-apple-darwin9.8.0/x86_64 (64-bit)
I want to make an S4 class that use the output object of the function of nls.lm as a slot:
setOldClass("nls.lm")
setClass (
Class="TestClass",
