TE405P and E1
Hello
Im from Denmark and i've just got my Digium TE405P. But i have some
problems when i connect it to my E1 connection (ISDN30).
My telco delivered a alcatel box witch have a G.703 120ohm (DB9 with a
serial to rj45) and a 75ohm coax connection.
I've tried to connect using the 120ohm with rj45 and a ordinary utp cable.
But it dosent seem to work. I've tried several zaptel.conf

run with incorrect E1/T1 jumper settings
Hi,
I have installed an TE110P but forgot to change the jumper
settings to E1. I don't have easy physical access to ther server
at the moment so I wonder if it will be possible to run it without changing
the jumper settings with a configuration like below or will it be
impossible
to use the card at all before I fix the jumper? I can't try it myself yet
since the operator isn't ready

Use modprobe to find E1/T1 jumper setting on PRI card
Does anyone know if I could use modprobe command to find out rather than
set the jumper on a Digium PRI card?
I want to find out the jumper settings on the card without opening the
box which will cause down time.
Thanks.

configuring TE410P for four E1 PRI lines
hi,
I'm trying to configure my newly acquired TE410P card to work as 4
E1 spans. This is
supposed to be a drop-in replacement to the earlier E100P card. However,
on loading the
zaptel module it gets configured as T1 spans basically doing a 'cat' on
/proc/zaptel/1 thru 4,
it shows 24 channels per span. After this ztcfg fails saying
'ZT_CHANCONFIG failed for channel 97'.

E1 configuration problem
Hi !
I'm trying to configurate my first asterisk system.
My test plant has an E100P Card and a 4 FXS TDM 400P card.
I've an E1 configured for 15 channels.
Telco says that crc4 is configurated so my zaptel.conf is:
loadzone = it
defaultzone=it
span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4
bchan=1-15
dchan=16
unused=17-31
fxoks=32-35
zttool shows no alarms.
I've also tried changing the timing

Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise + Asterisk with E1
Hi all,
I'm new in the forum, and although I have some experience in Asterisk, I've
never work with Asterisk FXO, FXS, E1... cards.
I have several costumers with ATAs working with my SER. However one of them
bought an Alcatel PBX OmniPCX Enterprise and now he wants I give him a E1
interface for interconection with its new PBX.
I understand I need a E1-IP gateway which could be Asterisk

Shielding of T1/E1 cables WAS RE: Pinouts for T1/E1 crossover cable WAS "RE: what cable to connect a legacy PBX to a TE410P ?"
My telco used cat5 as well for the demarc to CPE. It's also with noting that
many channel banks, such as my Atlas, and zapata.conf itself also have
parameters to allow you to tune the gains to compensate for cable signal
loss. I've never had to touch them, and my CPE is about 300 feet from the
PRI demarc (with an ordinary Cat5 cable connecting them)

Hangupcause to handle Called party disconnect ? PSTN----E1----OldPBX---E1--Asterisk
Hi,
I've been debuging the call disconnection problem in our architecture:
PSTN---E1---OldPBX---E1---Asterisk
This is our problem:
-SIP user agent "A" calls a pstn phone "B".
-"B" hangs up the call.
-SIP user agent "A" starts listenning busytones... But the call still on.
(and being payed).
- Call only ends when it is correctly hanged up in the

Shielding of T1/E1 cables WAS RE: Pinouts for T1/E1 crossover cable WAS "RE: what cable to connect a legacy PBX to a TE410P ?"
I was once told by a lineman that the cables they use didn't have that
many twists in them because it wasn't needed, and that the extra twists
would effectively use more cable and thus cost and weigh more than
triple what they do now. He told me that with the number of twists in
the Cat 5 cable it would cancel out any interference, but he also stated
that the effective length was

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Add support for ARM modified immediate syntax
Hi.
Please review the attached patch. It adds support for "modified immediate"
syntax form to the relevant ARM instructions. Basically these immediate
fields are represented via a pair of values: one being a base value and the
other a modifier. Since some of these values may have multiple
representations, the ARM architecture specification defines a syntax to
guarantee that a specific

Asterisk CPU use
Hello, working in a call center where we set up a structure in asterisk.
When my voip reaches 150 calls are with bad quality. We do not transcode
codec. What I realized using the top command server (CentOS) processing is
too high for the asterisk. But the general processor server is down. Would
any limitation of Asterisk to use more hardware resources?
tks
