I have two boxes nearly identical. I must have a package installed on one and not on the other. I cannot run a php-curl statement on one, and the other I can. Doing a google I find that I simply need to install php-common. According to box that does not work php-common is installed. What did I miss?

I just setup a new server for a client and everything is running well. I added and setup all the users from the cli just because that's how I'm used to doing it. I tried using the samba gui that comes with CentOS 4.03 and I tried Webmin but nether one will add the user proberly to the tdbsam database. They add the user fine to the /etc/passwd file but samba does not get updated

Hi, So first daft question with Centos 6 (someone had to be first!) I've setup Centos 6 as a Server but as with Centos 5 it used to boot into the GUI but v6 doesn't do this, startx etc doesn't seem to work to launch the GUI Any suggestions on how I can get this to work? Thank you Keith

Hello, I am trying to add shares by configuring the server through Yast on an OpenSuse Tumblweed and KDE desktop on a Dell machine. The Samba package is version 4.9.1 on a i586 (32-bit) architecture.
