PRI dialout problem with some numbers...
I have an Asterisk server (1.4.13) using PRI in Monterrey, Mexico. This is really the first server I have used with PRI in Mexico as we normally use MFC/R2. Everything seems to be working except that some numbers always seem to be busy when you dial them. All these numbers belong to different phone companies. I know that with R2 this problem is present if you have a "#define

Calling Party Category Field
For the past month I've been having trouble dialing certain numbers. We have Asterisk 1.4.14, Zaptel 1.4.7, Libpri 1.4.2 on a CentOS 5 server. We are using PRI on a TE110P card /etcwith a provider called Alestra in Monterrey, Mexico. There are some numbers that whenever we dial them we always get a busy tone. These numbers do not all belong to the same provider, but they all do not

6TB SCSI RAID vs. Centos
I have an Infortrend RAID box I'd like to see as one big 6TB partition, but I only can get 2.2TB partitions to work. I was trying to do this with an Adaptec controller but apparently they are only (any of them) 48 bits wide. Does anybody have a working system for SCSI/Centos over 2.2TB? Problem dialing certain numbers with an E1 PRI
I have a server running Asterisk 1.4.14, Zaptel 1.4.6, Libpri-1.4.2 on a CentOS 5 server. The server has a single TE110 card connected to a provider called Alestra in Monterrey, Mexico. Since we installed everything we have been having problems dialing certain numbers, those numbers always fail when dialed from Asterisk but if you dial from your cell phone they always go through. I once has a

multiple inputs from one soundcard.
Hi! i beg your pardon if this is not the right forum. Please point me in the right direction if not. I'm trying to stream multiple different voice streams from line in, cd in, aux in, and mic in, with a single sound card simultaneously. I need to broadcast at least 8 sound signals with two soundcards, maybe four. I don't know how to tell ices where to get their input, nor if this is

problem with -u option
This is my first attempt at using rsync, and I think I basically have it figured out, except that something is awry with updating. My situation is that I have a desktop in another city that I will use once a week or so when I am there. I have a local computer that most work gets done on. I wanted to set rsync to run nightly with a cron job to sync data, and then promptly run again in the other

Legal questions with jCIFS 0.8.2
I work for IBM and our developers have used jCIFS 0.8.2 in our product. We are now going through legal approval and have some questions. If people submit code changes to your product, do you find out if the submitter has the right to distribute the code? If so, do they need to sign any kind of statement? I couldn't find version 0.8.2 on your web site. The legal question is

Channel Bank configuration
Hello, I don't have any experience with channel banks and would appreciate any feedback on my theory outlined below: We have a single T1 entering the building with channels 1-12 being voice lines and 13-24 being a 768k internet connection. This T1 terminates to an Adit 600 (T1-1). Here's what I know. Channels 11-12 go out the Adit 600's 25-pair connector to a wiring block (and

Strange problem with samba
Hi, I was using samba 2.0.7 veersion for a while without any problem. This morning, suddenly, many windows (nt/98) cannot connect the samba server on our Linux (RedHat 6.2) server. Then, I downloaded the version 2.2.4, extracted, configure it, make, make install according to the document. Then I test it by running ./testparm it lists all of shared folders. Then, I run ./smbclient -L
