Traditionally I disabled support for fetch from crytpo-publish.org until they updated their website with the latest krb5 sources, requiring the port to fetch the source from MIT in all cases. This time will be different, that is unless of course someone

-march=pentium2 + -mtune=pentium4 faster then -march=pentium4?
Why does GCC produce faster code using "-march=pentium2 -mtune=pentium4" on a Pentium 4 chip versus plain -march=pentium4? Try it... CPUTYPE=pentium2 CFLAGS+= -mtune=pentium4 COPTFLAGS+= -mtune=pentium4 -- BSD Podcasts @ http://bsdtalk.blogspot.com/

Is it feasible to cross-build compat5x binary?
Hi folks, I think we need to update compat5x binary to fix FreeBSD-SA-05:21.openssl, but will the binaries built by ``make universe'' be identical with actual build on Alpha, Sparc64, etc? (Yes, I'm volunteering to do the work iff they are identical ;-) Cheers, -- Xin LI <delphij frontfree net> http://www.delphij.net/ See complete headers for GPG key and other information.
