Eaton 3S550
Windows 7 Pro x64 Eaton 3S550 (brand new, battery mfg 8/15/2012) NUT 2.6.5-3 ups.status: OL CHRG CHRG was present even though it has been plugged in a few days turned on and battery.charge was 100%. Log includes me running upsc and removing power long enough to see that battery.charge will decrease. This UPS doesn't have controlled outlets despite what the upsc output says. ---

Tripp-Lite INTERNET525U
Test machine: Windows 7 Pro x64, NUT 2.6.5-3 UPS model: Tripp-Lite Internet Office UPS (INTERNET525U) I needed a UPS and I had this old, but lightly used Tripp-Lite in storage. On the compatibility list I see a (?similar?) INTERNETOFFICE700 using the tripplite_usb driver. But the driver is not liking this particular model that I have. I'll be receiving a 3S550 soon, so I'm not

Problem with NUT and an Eaton 5PX UPS, usbhid-ups won't start
Hello, I have trouble connecting to an Eaton 5PX UPS via the usbhid-ups driver. It is supposed to be fully working according to the compatibility list (support level 5). OS: A fresh Debian stable install. Then changed the apt source to unstable and did "aptitute update" and "aptitude install nut". Nothing else. I did that, because the "unstable" package is a more

Setting the transfer threshold voltage on a TrippLite OMNI900LCD
At the company I work for, we are using many TrippLite OMNI900LCD UPSs and are having difficulty setting the lower transfer threshold voltage. On our other model, the Eaton MGE-3S550, this can be set using upsrw to set the input.transfer.lowsetting, but on the Omni900, this option is not available. In our testing, it defaults to ~95v but we want to set it to 84v. More info: - OS = OpenSuse 13.1 -

Eaton-9130 (usbhid-ups) no battery.voltage parameter!
My windows version is 2.6.5-3, latest on NUT site. "upsc ups" shows many ups parameters such as ups.load, battery.charge etc. but there is no battery.voltage, which I need (ups - is the name of my device in config). If I load driver usbhid-ups in debug mode (-DD), I see something like Ups.summary.bla-bla (sorry, don't remember exactly it's name) parameter with the value, which

Windows NUT shutdown UPS?
I was wondering what you guys do about UPS shutdown on Windows systems? Apcupsd has the same issue, so I'm assuming it is the same with NUT. Windows just makes it hard/impossible to do. Do you find draining the batteries down so much cause issues for longevity? Regarding my Eaton 5110, I found that automatic driver setup works just fine on Windows XP but not at all on Windows 7 x64 (I

No run cmd /usbhid-ups -k !
Hi all. UPS is Eaton 5SC 500i. I tested three solutions: 1. swap "usbhid-ups -a qnapups" with "usbhid-ups -a qnapups -k" Result: server shutdown, but ups does not shut off! 2. run prog with params "upsmon -c fsd" Result: server shutdown, but ups does not shut off! 3. run prog "upscmd -u name -p passwd qnapups shutdown.return" and next

Eaton 5E 2000i - incorrect values reported by usbhid-ups
Hi, I've recently bought the UPS in subject to support a small load (around 60-80W). I've installed nut and did the basic configuration and confirmed basic communication. At that stage I did not configure upsmon, but simply was monitoring the values. I carried out a test to see how long the setup would last - according to the values reported via upsc - it should have been around 45mins.
