patchless client on RHEL4
Is there instructions on how to use the patchless client on RHEL4 ? For version 1.6.2 We would prefer a rpm, but we are not scared of doing a build if needed. Brock Palen Center for Advanced Computing brockp at umich.edu (734)936-1985

We have allot of jobs that die, and/or go into high IO wait, strace shows processes stuck in fstat(). The big problem is (i think) I would like some feedback on it that of these 608 nodes 209 of them have in dmesg

compiler options for xen
I use gentoo on xen, in the gentoo docs (gentoo compiles everything almost) they have options like ''-march=pentium3'' should i be using the gcc option for the cpu im using (pentium3), I understand that domU''s and even dom0''s speak the "XEN" arch, so could using cpu specific flags like this cause problems? what are other xen+gentoo users using

Gluster Feature on HPC Podcast
I am one of the hosts of Research Computing and Engineering (www.rce-cast.com). We host shows on HPC related topics and we have had listener requests for a show on Gluster. Would one or two Gluster devs be willing to take an hour for a phone/skype interview to inform users about Gluster and its unique features? If you have any questions please let me know. [LLVMdev] LLVM/Clang on HPC Podcast
We are the hosts of the High Performance Computing Podcast: www.rce-cast.com We were wondering if LLVM / Clang would want to be a feature on the show? It takes about an hour over Skype/Phone and is focussed on being educational. Feel free to contact me (off list) if you are interested in being on the show. Thanks! options to use jumbo frames
We have a cluster (212 nodes) that are on a gig-e network useing jumbo frames (mtu 6000) To reload a node we have to plug it into a regular 1500 mtu that is running off a differnt port on the head node to install. Is there a way to tell in the 'append' line of /pxelinux.cfg/default to have the bcm5700 module run wiht jumbo frames. this is our append right now append load_ramdisk=1

Clustering
[Sorry for possible duplicated thread.] Hi. I''m new to Xen and I would know if it works well in a cluster environment (Beowulf, OpenMosix, CoLinux etc). I need an HPC running some virtual machines. Is this possible with Xen? Regards. -- Allysson Steve Mota Lacerda Administrador de Redes http://www.stevelacerda.net _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing

Asterisk against 3 Com NBX 100 and Siemens HiPath 3700/3750
My new company is going to enter a bid competing with 3Com and Siemens solutions from others. Voice service is a PRI T-1 with a block of 100 DID numbers, a second T1 that will carry Integrated voice/data, 12 voice/768K for redundency. I asked this a week or two ago, now I have more details. Best/$ channel banks that work with Asterisk and Best deal on phones... 16 business, 34 basic IP

The Phantom Call.. T1 card too
I've had the same thing happen, only on the single port T1 card and a channel bank, and one of the FXO channels also having a phone attached elsewhere... I just wound up putting that channel in a different context and running Exten => s,1,Hangup (I'm just using the line for outbound dialing) -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-admin@lists.digium.com

Moving up... T1 with 50 extensions
OK, I think I'm ready for the next step from the X100P. Splitting a T1 with a T100P and a channel bank/s ~ 50 extensions. I think the existing system uses NEC phones for ~34 extensions, I don't know the specific model yet of the phones or the channel bank. If the channel bank is not compatible with Asterisk/digium what brand should I be looking at to interface best with Asterisk and
