Hi all, I never have problems with wine, things always works just fine to me, but now, I upgraded my ubuntu do the version 8.04, (aka Hardy Heron) and I even could install the game Age of Empires 2. I'm using the repository version 0.9.59-0ubuntu5 I tried to launch the installer, but always got a error message and it stop the wine execution. Code: wine AOESETUP.EXE preloader: Warning:

I can't seem to get Age of Empires II to run after successful installation. I have created a new WINEPREFIX directory and installed it there and tried first without directx and with it. It is gold on the appdb so I'm a bit surprised. OS is Ubuntu 8.10 and I have tried with wine 1.1.15, 1.1.14 and 1.01. Each time it dumps the memory. Thanks for any help.

Ok, we got it working with 176x144 resolution. The following string produced an image that was not falling behind too much for too long - basically a little when it was getting TONS of movement, and then catching up fast. When the game starts i can go in menu and click with mouse everywhere changing options and preferences, but when i make any click on the map or the unit the game just go out...
