Hi, Sorry about posting to both lists, but I didn't get any feedback from samba-technical. I'm developing a vfs module that allows CDs to behave in a more "Windows" like fashion. If anyone out there cares about the ability to export cds without mounting them, please try this out and let me know what you think, if it works for you, whats wrong with my code, etc. Thanks, Dan

I have been trying to install several games, and all of the ones that have more than one disk fail, one way or another, at the point of changing cd's. Some (doom3) just quit [there exists an alternative plan for doom3], and others (Baldur's Gate-SoA) lock up the cd and won't let go. The only way to get the cd out is to kill the installer. Hi ! Audio CDs seem to be invisible to winecfg. I want to use dbpowerramp CD Ripper under Linux using WINE. CD Ripper doesn't see audio CDs, too. I am using WINE 1.3.33, Ubuntu 11.10 64bit.
