Hi, I am new on Samba, I hope You can help me with the next problem I have: I already Installed samba and set it up, I can even manage this using webmin, create the users and all I have imagined to do with its configuration, I can see its domain in my windows network but can not enter to it, it says that is not accesible, I am getting desesperate because the only way I can get into this server

I know this may sound a bit lazy, but I don't really wanna bother with writing many scripts from the Administration of my SMB-2.2.2 as an NT PDC Box... (like adding users, deleting users, adding shares and modifying passwords stuffs, knowing that I do the Unix-SMB password sync)... So does anyone have good scripts, or some reference pages?? I am trying to get into cups admin via web to check my cups printer but when I try to access : http://localhost:631/admin , it says that I don't have permission to get in. Well first problem I see is you editied your sbm.conf...Should be smb.conf ;-) Can you access it as root? Id start by making sure the permissions are correct. Hi, I am running samba and lprng for 4 hp laserjets. Sometimes a samba print job goes to the wrong printer. Normally everything works just fine. Shown below is the lprng acct log file enries for the concerned print job. Please notice that the print job was supposed to go to hp4050-mail, but ended up in hp8100.
