Latest kde/tetex updates fail on my attempts. Is it me or ...?
Trying to apply the latest updates to an Athalon base fully updated
CentOS 4.2. In the past used the update process kicked off by clicking
the hand-dandy red icon. This failed, so I tried yum. Somewhere in the
process, it complained that there was no GPG key for the lame libraries
(IIRC, everything's a little hazy after all the Googling trying to fix
this).
Anyway, tried "yum

Booting back into CentOS-6
This, IMHO, is one of the more annoying bugs with the newer GRUB (which i assume is the bootloader you are using). Specifically the newer grub can't, won't boot from a drive other than the one grub is on. suggest you revert to grub 0.97 or, if any boot loader is or can be put on the drive with the 6.5 distro you can make that drive the boot drive in the bios, which is how i do it. i.e.

0.20.1 deb from the site not quite working
I''m trying to use the 0.20.1 deb from the reductivelabs site and it doesn''t
seem to create the /var/lib/puppet directory even though my puppetd.conf
file has:
vardir=/var/lib/puppet
So, when I try the second run, it fails with:
Could not lock puppetd: No such file or directory -
/var/lib/puppet/state/puppetdlock

Asterisk 10 deb packages for Ubuntu 12.04?
Hello,
are there any deb packages for Ubuntu 12.04?
The repos at https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Packagesare
for older Ubuntu versions, also Asterisk 10 is only mentioned for YUM
/
CentOS?
Thanks :-)

Ubuntu DEB Packages for Hardy?
Hi,
I'm still running Ubuntu Hardy and I will upgrade when Lucid comes out. I just wish to know when the latest DEB files will come out? Wine updates seem to have stopped at wine-1.1.39.
Please support Hardy until Lucid comes out. It's still the latest LTS.

Bug#509890: possible solution: compile source-deb
apt-get source xen-utils-3.2-1
cd xen-3-3.2.1/tools/ioemu/
make
sudo cp i386-dm/qemu-dm /usr/lib/xen/bin/

works here. Strange.
