Hello, Our OS is AIX 6100-06-05-1115 and SAMBA version is 3.3.12.0 We have two network interfaces with different IPs. Now we restrict SAMBA active in onf of the interface. SWAT and smbd can start. Hi list, Small bug here succesfully setup a samba file server as a domain controller . Thing is I can't see the clients in network neighborhood - only the file server. In using 3Com 905/905B's I find the drivers that come with Windows 95/NT don't find Linux or NBT machines properly, but upgrading to the newest drivers at 3Com's web site fixes the problem. No changes to any of the configuration settings. I don't know what other cards have this problem, but ALWAYS upgrade to the most bug-free version of a driver and software before giving up. --

Hello, I have migrate my samba NT4 Domain to AD. There are 2 DC for failover. Sysvol is synced with rsync. Sometimes the network drive is not connected on userlogin. A manual start of login script or relogin do solve that problem. Did someone know whats wrong there? How can I debug the login process? There is no command window like on windows nt4 domain login process. Clients are Windows 7.
