samba - Sep 1998 - WARNING - 3Com PROBS - (re: Can't see my machine using "Network Neighbohood")

In using 3Com 905/905B's I find the drivers that
come with Windows 95/NT don't find Linux or
NBT machines properly, but upgrading to the
newest drivers at 3Com's web site fixes the
problem.  No changes to any of the configuration
settings.  I don't know what other cards have this
problem, but ALWAYS upgrade to the most bug-free
version of a driver and software before giving up.
