My Samba4 computers (DC's & member server) are not shown within W10 File Explorer Network. Only the other workstations appear. I believe this is due to smb1 being depreciated. All the folder redirection still works, gpo, etc. Domain users can log in. What do I need to adjust so these machines appear in smb2? (I know this has been talked about before sorry.) -- Thank you. Its just that this site shows it nicely what todo on the windows side. And only one member, there you start/enable nmbd. Hai, There is some work done here, see: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11473 Maybe an extra ping on it. Would be nice to have it in 4.11. since its directly related to/with SMB1. I have discovered that this does not matter as through file explorer you can still access these computers. My initial concern was how do you adjust any file permissions if Network does not 'see' the Samba 4 machines. Simply type \\ipaddressofmemberserver\ into file explorer address bar and the shares will appear. Assuming your user has correct permissions, proterties is avaialbe and you can adjust as normwl, recommended by RSAT instructions. Consider this closed for now.
