fixme:ddraw:User_DirectDraw_GetCaps unsupported structure versions
Hi: I can't get Red Alert (The old version, not Red Alert II) to work with wine. This is suprising since the Apps database on winehq.com has three entries that say Red Alert works. For me the screen goes black and stays that way. I get out of it by killing X witn Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. This the the error output from wine: Invoking /opt/wine/bin/wine.bin /WIN95/westwood/redalert/ra95.exe ...

ddraw hack files from Jasmine Iwanek??
Hi all, I'm wondering where I could find these? I really want to play Diablo 1, but the black menus are really getting to me, and I had read in the app db that the ddraw hack from this person makes it work. Unfortunately, the link on the appdb and the link on Iwanek's website lead to the same place - a broken page =( Does anyone know of a mirror to get them? I need it for Wine

[BUG] ddraw sur wine-20010510
I confirm the ddraw problem in wine-20010510. I "downdated" yesterday: $ patch -p0 -R < wine-20010510.diff $ mv wine-20010510 wine-20010418 And reinstalled everything of course. Now Wine works fine. (So now it works again, I'll be able to follow g.patel's proposition for my other problem: *.ST file access within STew) Yves. --- I previously wrote: --- Up to 20010418, I had

Announcing another ddraw/d3d7 patch
Hi, Merging the code into WineD3D is done now, so the last thing is to merge the new ddraw code. I have uploaded a new diff to http://stud4.tuwien.ac.at/~e0526822/, with some updated screenshots. The diff is against wine git from May, 26th, 12 am(yep, the site has an older date). It should apply to much older versions too, but it won't work because a few crucial patches were applied in
