similar to: Error installing winetricks dll's

Hi everybody! I have installed wine in my arch and I was trying to install games. I can run Steam and Warcraft 3 but when I try to run games like "Fallout 3" or "Silent Hill" i get this error: err:module:attach_process_dlls "MSVCR80.dll" failed to initialize, aborting err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"G:\\juegos\\Bethesda

I cant install any window dll's it comes up with 'note :command 'mkdir -p/home/jonny/.cache/winetricks vcrun2005' returned. Status aborting. any helpp????/

Hi, I've recently been having issues when trying to install vcrun2005 using wine 1.5.25-1.5.27 and winetricks (latest). I'm using a clean wineprefix, and it seems that the wine process hangs in executing the installer exe; strace shows that it's sitting in wait(). I recall that this used to work...is this a known bug?
