wine users - Mar 2013 - Issues with vcrun2005

Hi,

I've recently been having issues when trying to install vcrun2005 using wine
1.5.25-1.5.27 and winetricks (latest). I'm using a clean wineprefix, and it
seems that the wine process hangs in executing the installer exe; strace shows
that it's sitting in wait().

I recall that this used to work...is this a known bug?

Hi,

Disregard the previous mail here, the issue was a bug in systemd where not
having hugetlbfs enabled causes any process accessing /dev/hugepages (such as
wine) to hang permanently.
