Sunday I intalled Kubuntu 8.04RC and afterwards discovered that an old 16 bit windows program I've been running for years in WINE will no longer run. At first it told me there wasn't 16 bit support. So, just for chuckles I booted 8.04 with the older 2.6.22.14 kernel and it worked just fine. I prefer to use the new kernel since the scanning software no longer works under the older kernel

My current wine Version is 1.3.15 and the Latest release is 1.3.26 So I am pretty Far behind. However I have No Clue as to HOW im going to Update wine... Hello, After upgrading wine from 1.3.27 -> 1.3.28 I found I got no sound when a different application (which uses the sound) is running in the background. Workaround for me is to kill all sound, load up the wine application and alt+tab back to start a non wine application. It's not optimal but a workaround. Hello people! I'm frequently using Wine, but have noticed there has been a couple of updates since last I used it, so I updated... But: Package wine - 1.0-1.fc8.i386 is already installed.
