It seems to really on IE 5.5 +, along with VisualBasic C++. It loads up and installs, but wont run. Hi I tried running ie8 with wine and i discovered this: 1. No shortcut or reference link in the wine folder 2. IE8 froze after i tried to start it. Also when trying to change the url to google.com ...... I however CAN run ie 7 on playonlinux but it wont download files or everything i download with it gets auto deleted....... Hello community, I would like to remove IE8, which commes automatically during installation, because I need missed javascript. Then I plan to install IE6. So, how to remove IE8 when I haven't it listed in "Uninstall wine software" but it is for sure somewhere here (after starting IE6 installation I get message "... newer version of IE is installed").
