Window scrolling artifacts in PDF XChange Viewer
I'm seeing some really annoying behavior in Tracker Software's PDF XChange Viewer (http://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-xchange-viewer) When I scroll the window in either direction, I get artifacts from the window frame as evidenced by this screenshot (http://www.rjlsystems.com/~barryc/temp/Screenshot.png) I've tried Foxit too, and it doesn't seem to do this. Does anyone

Browser inconsistencies when using Effect.MoveBy()
Hi all! Brief intro: my name is Cam McVey and I'm a web developer in Glasgow, Scotland. Now to the point of my first message. I'm trying to use Effect.MoveBy() to horizontally scroll a table 'underneath' a div. The idea is that the div is a 'viewer' -- a window that the table can be seen through. The code below works great with Firefox but not in IE 6 where, after calling

Scrolling behavior in View()
Hi, I've realized that the scrolling behavior in View() is unlike most other applications. It seems that the minimum scroll size is very large for large objects( i.e., a vector of 1M integers), and it might be that this scroll is proportional to the size of the object. Try this: a = 1:1000000 View(a) Click once on the scroll arrow down. It will move to item 1001. It could be that the scroll

Hi all, I am looking for a nice time series grapher/viewer in R ... with the feature of scrolling, zooming, etc. Hopefully it could be of the quality at the report-generation-and-sending-to-boss level... Could anybody please give me some recommendations/pointers? Thanks a lot!

Failure with Top50 Geogrid Viewer
Hi, I've been successfully using Geogrid viewer version 3.2 with wine 0.9.9 and a hack to let the CoRegisterPSClsid() stub return S_OK on Suse 9.3. However, after an upgrade to Suse 10.1 the application failed to open the main window. 0.9.10 showed the same behaviour. Later versions of wine (I tried 0.9.11 onwards to current cvs) open the main window again, however when I try to scroll

Curious warning in R for OS X w/Xwindows
I recently reformatted my TiBook and reinstalled everything from the system up. After installing Apple's version of XWindows and the XWindows version of R 1.7.0, I ran the two and got a strange warning: ----- R : Copyright 2003, The R Development Core Team Version 1.7.0 Patched (2003-05-14) R is free software and comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. QT menu decorations missing on Centos 6
See this screenshot for an example of what I get when I run qtconfig-qt4 on Centos 6 and select a menu: http://www.melvilletheatre.com/screenshot-qt-example.png If the list is long, the menu extends from the top to the bottom of my physical screen, with a little arrow at the top and the bottom which, if I sit the mouse pointer on the arrow, makes the list scroll up and down. As you can see, the

Log viewer for colorized logs
Is there a decent log viewer for colorized log files? less -r for me doesn''t work well, as it sometimes clears the screen. I''d like: * Either a console type less viewer which just removes the colors * Or, even better, a console one which handles the colors without clearing the screen * Or, best of all, a GUI viewer - maybe even with color I use both Windows and Linux.

CentOS 7.1 user login screen can't scroll up/down
Can you use the page-down and arrow keys to navigate the list? Which Display Manager ( [kxg]dm ) are you using? Try a different one if the keyboard navigation does not work. WINE hiding in background
I am a beginner trying to use wine to run the pdfXchange program and I cannot get it to be responsive. The program will start up but when I open a pdf file the window moves to the background and becomes unresponsive, but I can see that the pdf was loaded in the window. When I try and clk on it to bring it up the last window used just comes back up. I am using Ubuntu 10.10 netbook version and wine

Scroll bar arrows missing and behaviour change
And I thought it was a Kubuntu (Ubuntu with KDE desktop for those who aren't familiar) thing! Apparently it's a KDE thing. I haven't experienced the scrollbar aspect (or maybe I just haven't done what you do) but my arrows are missing too. I'm thinking this is a KDE Blasted Ugly Gotcha (BUG). BTW, if you haven't already discovered it, if you position your cursor where

PureEdge Viewer and Wine
I know it has been a while since the last thread for this. I got my CAC Card working in Debian "etch" (Xandros OCE 4.5). I'd like to give running PureEdge Viewer a shot under Wine. I know where to get the latest version of Wine for etch. My question is this: has anyone worked with PureEdge Viewer and the latest version of Wine? Also, anything about digitally signing the forms too?
