So before you make the changes be sure there is none wine* process running. Hope this helps. If not, write us again and we'll help you (sometime ago I run into the same problem but I can't remember the

As a novice to Wine I've been trying to run the old spreadsheet program Lotus 123 release 5 (1994) under Fedora Core3. I'm using the default wine config with one change under [Version] "Windows" = "win95". I have little knowledge of gdb. I get the following errors after I mount the first of seven 3.5in floppies. Can anyone give me some pointers? Please e-mail me

Lotus 123 with Wine
Am a newbee to Linux and am trying to evaluate various distros to see how they fit my needs. For this purpose I now have six trial Linux partitions on the same machine. My other criterions to replace XP as my main system have been passed by all the distros, but remains the last one: to be able to handle Lotus wk4-files. That is where I have my history. First tried installing Lotus 123 from

Lotus Notes 5.09 which wine? Resolved
Noted, Darren. Thanks for that. The compile option is interesting, I'll file that for next time. Resolution: Do the install under wine until it stops, kill it. Mounted a Windows hdd, copied the Lotus dir, not overwriting that which got left behind by the killed installation, chown and chmod the new files to similar to those installed by wine, works fine. Very simple, but means

Hello I currently trying to run the Domino Client (Lotus Notes R7) on Wine 0.9.14 but couldn't get success yet. Does somebody has experience about running the R7 on Wine? I tried a lot of diffrent WINEDLLOVERRIDES settings but all I get is that Lotus brings the crash dialog (which creates a crash error message). I would be very appreciative for any hint. Wine, Lotus Notes and date format
Hi all, Finally I found out how to teach Lotus Notes to use a date format different from the American m/d/yy format. Lotus Notes (4.6) reads win.ini. Not the registry. The win.ini is stored under Wine in ~/.wine/win.ini (there's probably also a system wide location). There you can add a group [Intl] with the keys of a standard Window's registry. Using regedit under windows, have a look

RedHat 7.1, wine, Lotus Notes and fonts
I'm having problems trying to get Lotus notes (v5) to run smoothly with wine. It appears that there are some sort of font problems that cause Lotus Notes to hang for quite some time before moving to the requested area. During this time, xfs is taking 80% or more of the cpu. Does anyone have any idea on what is causing this and how to fix it? I'm running a plain jane install of RH7.1.
