wine users - Sep 2004 - wine: cannot determine executable type for L"C:\\Program Files\\lotus\\notes\\nlnotes.exe"

Hi all,

I'm tryong to have Notes running under Linux, but when I launch it I get 
this error :
[yann@localhost yann]$ wine "c:\Program Files\lotus\notes\nlnotes.exe"
wine: cannot determine executable type for L"C:\\Program 
Files\\lotus\\notes\\nlnotes.exe"


Anyone can help ??

Hi,

I get this error message when I try to start a non-executable like a text file 
with wine (i.e. wine readme.txt). maybe the nlnotes.exe file is damaged? Try:

file nlnotes.exe

this should output something like "MS-DOS executable (EXE), OS/2 or MS 
Windows".

I have this problem when i am not on the directory of the program.
With 20040914, i must change to the program directory before starting it.
