Sorry for reviving such an old topic but is the newest and it's spot on. Is there anything new on AA in wine or do I have to choose between Slow backbuffer + AA Fast fbo - no AA ?

Font anti-aliasing in wine?
One of the things that DOES make a big difference for me is font-antialiasing (AA). (OK, maybe I am picky). Does anyone have experience/knowledge on that subject? What surprises me is that for a few fonts (BitStream Vera Sans, for instance), it is active, whereas it is completely absent for most others. Why is that? (BTW, I just found out that I get the best results so far for the new MS font

No Anti-Aliasing in Warcraft 3?
Hello, Wine Users! I'm on Debian Sid (x86_64) using fglrx. Wine version is stable 1.4.0 The driver is working fine and I can play Warcraft 3 with 1920x1080 resolution with highest settings, getting about 100 FPS. Now, that's the fine part. How to configure anti-aliasing minimum font size.
It seems that the minimum font size for Anti-Aliasing (AA) in wine is independent from the system settings and set to something near 13-14. Is there any possibility to change that value, whether by changing config file, the registry or even directly in the source coce (I can recompile wine, I don't mind)? GTA: Vice City, graphical issues

running diablo 3 in virtual desktop
I've gotten Diablo 3 working with wine, but it is only playable inside a virtual desktop. If I run it outside a virtual desktop, I can't even get past the login screen and the music stutters. Inside the virtual desktop, I only get around 10-12 fps. I've found as infernix on the "Diablo 3" app page has, that if I run wine with the backbuffer as the render target instead of

GTA SA : Can't put anti aliasing.

How to turn off Anti-aliasing ?
I have just updated my install of Wine and I notice that the config file is now deprecated, it doesn't get used. I want to turn off Wine Anti-aliasing. I was able to do it in the config file, but now I don't know. 'winecfg' doesn't have any such setting. Can it be turned off in the registry ? If so what is the setting ? Thankyou, George

oblivion gfx problems
hi there, i'm trying to play oblivion, the game installs and run fine but there's still some minor problems. in nature (woods, mountains..), here and there, objects and texture seem to be missing.. kind of like if i used "noclip" and walking though objects.. so at time i can see though parts of a mountains, or run into a big rock , i cannot move forward any further but i cannot

Hello, the Game starts correctly and i can see the videos and have sound. The Menue and the Game are white.
