Has anyone seen this error? is it a bug? if not then what am I doing wrong with the compile? codeweavers-wine-20010112-1 hung during install (rpm) at the creation of KDE/Gnome menus; since I don't use either, I thought, no prob and ran winesetup from Blackbox. I skipped re-making the links on starting winesetup and went right for the configuration. which also failed. Hi, Sorry to bug people with this what must be a very trivial question. I've got a Mandrake 8.0 installation and have been trying in vain to get CodeWeavers Wine (preview #3) installed. I've downloaded and installed the 'blessed' version of itcl from the CodeWeaver's website (itcl-8.3.2-7mdk.i586.rpm) and am still getting the itcl not found error when I try to run winesetup.

I am using the version of wine that came with RedHat 7.2. I just noticed that Codeweavers has their own distribution of wine that includes what looks like a convenient setup configuration utility. What are the pros and cons of uninstalling what I got from RedHat and downloading and installing the rpm from Codeweavers? Thanks

So ... is their's really better than Wine on Debian Sid or Experimental? I have no need for MS-office. OO is more than good enought. This is driving me nuts. I'm trying to compile an MFC application using WINE. I can specify the location of the ATL includes and configure is quite happy but it chokes when I give it the MFC includes in the same way: ./configure --with-atl-includes=/home/wade/VC98/atl/Include --with-mfc-includes=/home/wade/VC98/mfc/Include Wassup? I recently downloaded the wine source from codeweavers.com that is supposed to have openGL support. I dont have yacc, so i tried to substitute bison. bison installed right, but flex cant find it and so wont compile, so in short i cant compile the wine source any ideas? Thanks in advance, Tommy
