I had it installed, running under WINE on CentOS 6. Bought a ebook, it insisted it needed ADE, I d/l from the sellers site... setup.exe won't run. Tried d/l 4.5 and 3 from Adobe, neither installer works, The one from their website: file setup.exe setup.exe: PE32 executable (GUI) Intel 80386, for MS Windows, Nullsoft Installer self-extracting archive Anyone run into this yet? I try to run an ebook viewer, which requires IE
Hello! I would like to launch this EXE file (http://downloads.marketingtips.com/lead-ebooks/FoolproofSuccessStrategies.exe). This is an ebook viewer application, it does not require install, but it requires Internet Explorer 4 or higher. I don't know, should I install Internet Explorer first, or does Wine contants the requires libraries? Does it make any difference if I would install

samba doesn't map to guest account

Failure to get compactPDF to compact a pdf file
I am failing to get compactPDF to make any change to a pdf file that, a/c to the message from the CRAN upload site, can be very substantially compacted. Any ideas what may be wrong? I have also tried recreating the pdf file. I also tried R CMD build --resave-data --compact-vignettes DAAG The data files compact alright (but I get the 'significantly better compression' warning message
