NUT unable to resolve host despite DNS working.
Hello all, I have been having a problem with upsmon on Fedora 24 on boot. NUT is configured as a netclient to a Raspbian NUT server. After boot up upsmon repeatedly says "connect failed: No such host". It is not able to connect at all until the service is bounced. This seems to indicate a name resolution problem but shouldn't this auto correct once name resolution is working properly

HP R1500 G2 UPS
Hi, I have a HP R1500 G2 UPS and want to get it working under Debian Lenny - as this OS is not supported by HP I'm trying to use nut for it - but I can't get it working. Do I have any chance to get the UPS running with nut. I also tried different drivers but had no luck either. Or does anyone has experience with HP UPS under debian ? Any help would be nice ! I tried /lib/nut/usbhid-ups

usb ups on openindiana
Hello all, I am trying to set up my brother's UPS (remotely over internet) on an OpenIndiana-based storage box. According to him, the UPS is probably an Ippon Back Power Pro 600 dated around 2003 (battery recently replaced), and it has an USB connection. Sorry for a relatively long post with a log of my successes and failures, in the hopes that someone would point out what I did wrong.

CVS oddness on Solaris.
Ok.. While helping someone else out with a Solaris 6 issue.. I'm noticing something is broken on Solaris 7.. I've not verified it on Linux.. That is my next step. But this is what I'm seeing. I installed the latest CVS snapshot (actually from the Developer's tree but no changes have been made since 21th), compiled, and installed.. and now: ssh localhost "ps -ef" does

NUT USB Delayed Communication
Hello, Yes, "pollonly" is a driver option for certain devices (and relevant to just some drivers). Disconnects are probably relevant, at least to loss of connection (and staying that way, with less agressive retries in NUT v2.7.4 and before). There is a logged issue that "pollonly" mode might have trouble detecting a disconnection/staleness, I'm not sure there's merit
