gcc4 compiler warnings
Hi all!
The following files emits warnings when compiled with gcc 4.0:
al175.c
bcmxcp_ser.c
belkinunv.c
cyberpower.c
everups.c
powercom.c
solis.c
All warnings seem to be of this variety:
everups.c:38: warning: pointer targets in passing argument 2 of 'ser_get_char' differ in signedness
I suggest that those who fiddles with those drivers fixes the warnings
and verifies that it works

Re: [Nemo-devel] nuts status page
Adam: Thanks for putting up this page. But something is wrong. In
particular, our Powerware 9135 is a three phase UPS system with THREE 480
volt outputs. So the displayed voltage is not correct -- in fact there
should really be THREE voltages displayed, all around 480v.
Nut developers: I am copying the NUT mailing list to see if anyone can
suggest how to fix this. NUT developers, see the

tripp lite smart2200RMXL2U error reading protocol
I'm working on a gentoo server with Nut 2.0.5-r1 and libusb-0.1.12.
I originally tried the hidups driver which seemed to work, but produced
a large amount of unhandled events. Then I tried the newhidups which
told me my ups wasn't supported. When I try using
tripplite_usb -u root -DDDD /proc/bus/usb/002/002
I get that there isn't a match. But when I try using
tripplite_usb -DDDD

RE: [Nut-upsuser] SOS : Help needed for UPS CentralionBlazer2000VAUSB
Ok Guillaume,
It is Megatec protocol.
It sends Q1<cr> and answers with
(227.2 227.2 227.2 038 50.1 13.5 25.0 00001001<cr>
And if you check
http://eu1.networkupstools.org/protocols/megatec.html
it matches.
And now, ho has time to code ?

Voltage transfer points.
Hi,
Need to get an answer to the following. I find the naming to be
little redundant regarding the 'input.transfer.boost.low - hige'.
The same goes for input.transfer.trim.low - high.
As I find it, there is only one point where the boost or buck (trim)
kicks in.
Let's say that the nominal voltage is 230 volt, then we have a
input.transfer.boost point on say 220 volt.
If the

bcmxcp_usb / kernel 2.4.32-rc2
Hi,
I recently downgraded my kernel to 2.4 series (2.4.32-rc2). Now I can't
get nut running. It was fine with 2.6.14.
It say's:

Can't reset POWERWARE USB endpoint

upsimage/upsstats: 3phase support
The attached patch is a first stab at adding 3phase support to
upsstats/upsimage. I got a little carried away, so bare with me.
This patch adds 3phase awareness to upsstats/upsimage and the template
files, and in additional to the obvious 3phase variables:
- upsstats:
* Adds IF/ELSE-awareness, and since the parser logic is rather limited
this means that we now have IF, ELSE IF etc since all

snmp ups Status: Not supported
Hi
I set up my ups with driver snmp-ups, and it get recognized as a AEC T2003.
In the nut-cgi upstats page input/output/load are displayed corectly, but the
Status field is marked as "Not supported".
Is "Status" important to initiate shutdown in case of low battery ? Will my
server shut down correctly ?
thanks
Massimo

initial configuration assistance
Hi,
I've browsed the archives back for a few months and nothing has jumped
out at me as being helpful, but since there doesn't seem to be a search
facility it's certainly possible I've missed what I'm looking for.
Anyway, I wonder if someone can help me.
I've very recently installed nut 2.0.4-r1 on a gentoo box and am in the
initial stages of configuration and testing.

Powerware 9125 - bcmxcp - shutdown problem
Hi,
just through setting up nut-2.0.2 I ran into a shutdown problem. As I have
already spend some time on it and don't know any further, I like to ask for
advice.
Situation:
Powerware 9125 serially connected using /dev/cua0
nut compiled and installed fine
system shall
- broadcast a message and shut down if ups on battery for 30+ s
- wait 120 s
- broadcast another message
- give system 120

Using upssched under Solaris
Hi, I'm attempting to use the UPS network tools. I'm sure I got the
configurations worked out as I get notified when the ups goes on battery
and back online. I am having problems with upssched. I have the
following in my upssched.conf:
CMDSCRIPT /usr/local/ups/sbin/upssched-cmd
AT ONBATT * EXECUTE onbatt
The problem I have is that is seems like the script in CMDSCRIPT never

thanks for your patch.
since it introduces a new variable (battery.status.abm), I prefer to
step back and think to something useful more widely.
thus, I'm thinking about a generic

Question about voltage threshold setting in NUT
Hello,
We have an Eaton 3S 550 UPS using NUT tool to send power loss event. By
default the power voltage threshold is set to 85 volts. If the voltage is
less than 85 volts, it will trigger ONBATT event from NUT. Is there a way
in NUT we can change the threshold from 85 volts to a lower voltage like 40
volts?
We were trying to change ups.conf to modify the output of upsc ..., but
looks like it

Sweex 1000VA UPS (Lakeview Research)
Hi all,
i've read a thread about this UPS from Peter van Valderen. He tried to
develop a
driver for this specific type of UPS. I've downloaded nut-2.2.2 and tried to
apply
the patches (lakeview.patch & lakeview.v2.patch) but both resulted in
rejected
chunks. I've tried to ./configure with type lakeview and then a make, but
the make
command fails.
Does anybody has any
