Setting the transfer threshold voltage on a TrippLite OMNI900LCD
At the company I work for, we are using many TrippLite OMNI900LCD UPSs and are having difficulty setting the lower transfer threshold voltage. On our other model, the Eaton MGE-3S550, this can be set using upsrw to set the input.transfer.lowsetting, but on the Omni900, this option is not available. In our testing, it defaults to ~95v but we want to set it to 84v. More info: - OS = OpenSuse 13.1 -

Tripp lite SMART1000LCD
Just installed version 2.2.1 and have the same problem reported in this chain. I have Mandriva Linux 2008.1 with a Tripplite USB 500 no break. When I start the upsdrvctl I get the "Startup timer elapsed, continuing..." message and then a upsd can't connect error. I copied the file usbhid-ups from version 2.2.0 from another Mandriva system and everything works fine now. Its not

Tripp lite SMART1000LCD
Hi, I was wondering if Tripp lite SMART1000LCD is working in nut or what code I should change to get it to work. I saw some older posts about this model and the OMNI1000 LCD but the model I have has a different product ID, 2007 vs. 2005: Device descriptor: VID:09ae, PID:2007 Device release:0x10, USB release:0x110 Descriptor Length:18, Type:1 Device Class:0, Subclass:0, Protocol:0, Num

Tripp-Lite SMART1000LCD usbhid failed to claim USB device
Trying to get a Tripp-Lite to work with nut--Ubuntu 10.10. I was getting the error message "unable to claim USB device", tried to unbind the drivers to that device, and had the following delightful experience. In short, continue to get the same problem, and the drivers bound themselves back. Any suggestions? ----------- usb.conf has the following: [Tripp-Lite] driver = usbhid-ups port

Multiple Tripplite OMNI900LCD
We have multiple TrippLite Omni900LCD UPS. There are a couple pieces of equipment connected to each UPS. I would like to connect the UPSs to one computer through USB which would shutdown the appropriate equipment based on events monitored by upsmon using upssched. I've configured NUT using usbhid-ups driver and compiled/installed NUT. I've done some testing and it seems to work.

compatibility with Tripps SMART/OMNI/OMNISMART ?
I've having trouble understanding the NUT compatibility page. Is it compatible with the OMNISMART300? Or the OMNI900LCD? The compatibility page said for instance SMART550 -- tripplite_usb SmartUPS -- tripplite OMNI650LCD -- usbhid_ups so I'm not sure if an OMNISMART300 is like a Smart, or a SMART, or an OMNI, or even if it's supported at all. Thanks in advance for any help!

HP T1500 INTL
I have a HP T1500 INTL that isn't picked up under 2.4.3. I added the USB device ID to tripplite-hid.c like: /* HP T1500 INTL */ { USB_DEVICE(HP_VENDORID, 0x1f09), battery_scale_1dot0 }, and it seems to work just fine: # upsc UPS1 at localhost battery.charge: 100 battery.charge.low: 10 battery.charge.warning: 30 battery.temperature: 23.9 battery.type: battery.voltage: 40.9

Tripp Lite Smart1000LCD driver problem
Thanks Kjell for the help with the build problem. Thanks for your input, too, Charles. Now I have a new problem that I think has already been solved. I have Tripp Lite Smart1000LCD UPS (usb), but I can't get the newhidups driver to communicate correctly. I found a thread on the development list from last December where Jonathan Freedman described had a problem with this UPS in a thread

HP R1500 G2 UPS
Hi, I have a HP R1500 G2 UPS and want to get it working under Debian Lenny - as this OS is not supported by HP I'm trying to use nut for it - but I can't get it working. Do I have any chance to get the UPS running with nut. I also tried different drivers but had no luck either. Or does anyone has experience with HP UPS under debian ? Any help would be nice ! I tried /lib/nut/usbhid-ups

tripp lite smart2200RMXL2U error reading protocol
I'm working on a gentoo server with Nut 2.0.5-r1 and libusb-0.1.12. I originally tried the hidups driver which seemed to work, but produced a large amount of unhandled events. Then I tried the newhidups which told me my ups wasn't supported. When I try using tripplite_usb -u root -DDDD /proc/bus/usb/002/002 I get that there isn't a match. But when I try using tripplite_usb -DDDD

Tripp Lite SMART2200RMXL2U and Fedora Core 6 (NUT 2.0.3)?
Hi, I'm running Fedora Core 6 and need to monitor a Tripp Lite SMART2200RMXL2U. I've loaded the nut-2.0.3-2.1 RPM. The UPS is connected via the provided USB cable, and that much appears to work: # dmesg | grep -i tripp hiddev96: USB HID v1.10 Device [Tripp Lite TRIPP LITE SMART2200RMXL2U ] on usb-0000:00:1f.4-2 # lspci | grep -i usb 00:1f.4 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801BA/BAM
