column width in .dbf files using write.dbf ... to be continued
Hello Arnaud, You posted this question a long long time ago, however I found your answer so I decided to post it anyway in case somebody else have the same problem as you and me. You were actually very close in finding your solution. The function DoWritedbf is an internal function from the foreign package. To access it outside of the package just do: foreign:::DoWritedbf so in your line:

make tinc as a reusable lib possible?

So I think, yes, tinc need to be > linked from such apps. link to and link from is mark as the main application's view, so, for NE extension it's link to libtinc( if there is a libtinc lib), that's

make tinc as a reusable lib possible?
> I was planning to make an iOS port, but GPL means we can't make an App Store version. Also, the way Network Extension work means only tun mode is available. I think GPL just forbidden link from(which need more link exception statement be added) but not link to Ne extension work with link from style? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [Bridge] [RFC] bridge kernel API change
Here is the proposed revision to the bridge utilities interface to the kernel. The driving force is that the existing interface can't easily be converted to 32/64 bit compat. Right now, the bridge-utils (brctl) tries to handle 32bit command on 64 bit kernel, but the code is limited to sparc and wrong. Here is what I am thinking. get version - not needed? get bridges -

column width in .dbf files using write.dbf ... to be continued
Dear UseRs, I did not have any answer to my previous message ("Is there a way to define "manually" columns width when using write.dbf function from the library foreign ?"), so I tried to modify write.dbf function to do what I want. Here is my modified version : write.dbfMODIF <- function (dataframe, file, factor2char = TRUE, max_nchar = 254, width = d) {

Spectralink 8002
Hello, I hope this isn't too off topic, but I'm attempting to set up a Spectralink 8002 Wifi phone with our Asterisk installation, and seem to be running into a brick well (more of a wall than others that have posted their experiences). My problem is that the phone boots, associates with the wireless, grabs an IP (tried static too - same thing), contacts the TFTP server for firmware, then

SIP/WiFi handsets?
Anyone know of any *portable* SIP/WiFi handsets? Looking for a decent price:quality ratio, of possible. Keep seeing handsets for Vonage, etc., in Best Buy and the like, but I imagine it's locked to Vonage, and can't be re-appropriated. Thanks! -Ken -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.

sip show channels - gives a growing list of dead channels
I am using Asterisk 1.4.18 with 70 various Polycoms, 12 analog, and 18 Spectralink wireless IP phones. Most of the Spectralink phones have entries in 'sip show channels' that do not go away. None of the other phones do this. Is there anyway to remove these entries without restarting Asterisk? Any ideas on what could be done to prevent this? Example output: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 541

V3: drop debugging printk's update selinux perm table as well V2: drop patch 1/2, export ifindex directly Redesign netlink attributes Improve netlink seq check Handle IPv6 addr as well This patch exports bridge multicast database via netlink message type RTM_GETMDB. Similar to fdb, but currently bridge-specific. We may need to support modify multicast database too

Setup multiple bridges for use with KVM
Running CentOS 5.4 x64. Have successfully bridged eth2 with br2 by following the instructions here: http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/Networking (under the RHEL section) Have been running several KVM VMs successfully via this bridge. I am now trying to bridge additional interfaces by using the same routine. Each bridge is named to correspond with the ethX device its bridged with. Example of

WiFi Phones (was Looking for Wireless Heaset for Polycom 501)
Martin: I had seen your other post and sent you a message off-list, but I never got a response. What do you feel is the most lacking that does not make it ready for a production enviroment. - I've been using a SIP deskphone in my office and usually some sort of ATA at my house, both as the primary phone. I've also had mobile phones from almost every carrier. Each one of these devices

OT: Managing wireless SIP phone congestion on AP
We are planning a very large Asterisk deployment, using Wifi SIP phones. We've done installs using Spectralink and the SVP to manage congestion at the access points, but we have a client that doesn't want Spectralinks. Anyone have experience with an alternative congestion management (AP association management ?) technology with Asterisk? Anything open source that I'm not aware of?

KVM vs ESXi
Morning Everyone, I'm busy doing a rebuild of my home server and am tossing between VMware and KVM for this build. I already have experience with ESX, we use it at work, but I'm debating trying out KVM for a while. The server itself is a budget build using a Supermicro X8SAX board w/ i7-950 & 12GB RAM, LSI 3081 SAS RAID (1068e based), rolled into a NorcoTek 16 Bay SAS case. Not fancy
