Attended Transfer with snom phones
I have setup an asterisk based phone system using snom-320 (SIP based)
phones.
I would like to change what seems to be the default procedure for an
attended call transfer. Right now, the phone user places the call on hold,
calls the extension using a "extension" button on the phone, speaks with the
call recipient , and presses transfer to transfer the held call.
The users would like

SNOM 200 can't conference.
Hello,
Does anyone know how to conference a call on the SNOM 200 phone? Whenever I push the cnf/tran button it just hangs up on the active call. The manual says you have to push the cnf function key but it doesn't appear in the lcd on my phone.
Thanks

SNOM 360 and parking
OK, last showstopper that I just can't puzzle my way through - parking
calls with the snom phones. I get the two phones connected, I hit
transfer on one, the other phone goes to MOH and the first phone gives
me DT, so I dial 700 and hit the OK button. Call transferred, the SNOM
hangs up before I have a chance to hear which extension it parked to.
Is there a way to make the SNOM phones

snom 105 Attended Transfer does not work
Hello all,
I am running into some problems with a snom 105 phone trying to do a attended transfer .
Snom phones are connected to Asterisk.
This does not work, it will only do a unattended transfer.
I have downloaded the manual from snom and followed the instructions.
Has anyone experienced the same problem ?
any ideas how to solve the problem.
thanks,
Arne.

Snom 360 - Message waiting and conference keys
Hi,
Trying to set up these two buttons on a snom 360. The message waiting
key seems to send a call to it's own number, which is obviously engaged
and where you are prompted to leave another message to yourself, and the
conference key seems to do nothing.
Anyone manged to overcome these problems so that the conference key
actually conferences, and the message waiting "retrieve"

SNOM, Asterisk and Attended transfer (bug?)
Hi,
I am using a number of snom190 phones, and an asterisk "gateway"
server, and recently started experimenting with call transfers. The
snom phones provide support for attended and un-attended call
transfer, so I would rather use that than call-parking.
I have found that un-attended transfer works fine, and that attended
transfer works fine if the originating phone call is NON-SIP

snom 200 and hold
Hi,
I've looked through the archives and seen references to placing calls on
hold on a snom 200 (any version of the firmware but we have the latest:
2.05e.)
Basically, we can't place calls on hold on the snom 200! The manual
talks about the Flash button (which is really the "R" button, as far as I
can tell.) Pressing the R button will immediately disconnect the incoming
call.

HPEC audio clipping
I have recently moved an asterisk system to a new location. This location
is experiencing terrible echo. I installed the HPEC from Digium but that
has caused a new problem.
When HPEC is enabled and more that 16 taps are used, the audio from the
outside caller gets clipped. Instead of hearing:
Hello, my name is Mike
one hears
He o, m ame ike
If the taps are set to less than 16, there

Plantronics and Snom RF feedback
Hey all, after hooking up some Plantronics to some Snom's (3 320's 1 360),
I noticed my client is having some form of feed back on the phone.
Because of Snom's "inner oddities" this is how I got it to work.
Plantronic --> RJ11 --> SnomHandset Port (on Snom Base)
Handset --> Plantronic jack (bottom base in the front)
If I placed Plantronic(RJ11) --> Snom's

Snom phones?
Hi, everyone:
I'm in the processing of deciding what IP phones we should use with our
Asterisk server, and I wanted to get feedback from the user community on
the quality, reliability and ease of operation of Snom phones.
What do you have to say about these phones? Are there other phones you'd
suggest along with or instead of Snom?
Thanks,
-Stephen-

Cannot transfer with Cisco or Snom
I am having a hell of a time with transfers.
First the Snom issues:
The transfer button on the Snom 220 does not work. I have read about
setting break key off in the advanced page of the web config but the Snom
220 has no such option. At the moment I am having to use the # transfer
hack which makes this phone look really stupid to have buttons on it that
cannot be used. Anyone know how to

Use Snom phones.
We have had around 6 participants, without problems. In theory you should be able to have around 12 people on a conference on a snom phone.

SNOM phones stay "in use" after transfer
Hello,
Before I dig into the SIP traces maybe someone has a clue:
We have a few Snom phones, and the call-limit on the extension associated with
them is set to 1 (so the other Snom phones can blink the relevant LED).
When I call a SNOM phone (300 with the latest firmware) and the call is
answered the phone is in "in use" state (verbose printing from Asterisk). When
I hit the

Snom 320, Queues and Transfer not working as expected with * 1.2.12.1
Hello all!
I have a few problems with Snom 320 phones:
Problem A - Transfer out of Queues:
We have a call center with some Snoms. We are using Queue and
AgentCallbackLogin. As we run * 1.2.7.1 an agent could transfer
a call out of the queue using the hold and transfer buttons
on the Snom. This might have been the wrong way to do it all
the time I found out later, but it worked. Now we upgraded

RESOLVED - Snom 360 Multiple calls on hold help
I wanted to post this to everyone in case someone else ran into this
problem!
Firmware 6.5.1 (Current stable release)
Asterisk 1.2.13
Call Completion: Off
Peer to Perr call completion: On (canreinvite=no is set in sip.conf for
each friend)
Call join on Xfer (2 calls): Off
Those settings seem to do the trick, I tested on Snom 320s with no
errors at all,
Im going to test on the 360s later today,
