Incoming calls on zaptel not answered.
After an upgrade from asterisk 1.2.13 to 1.2.25 including upgrading libpri,
zaptel, the incoming calls to a TDM400P REV I, with 3 FXO modules stop
working.
The board is working, I tested in another server with the 1.2.13 asterisk
version.
When a call is incoming, I do a ztmonitor to check the rx and tx values, but
nothing appears on screen.
Also changed the pci slot where the board is.

Rebooting Polycom's - Could not create address for 'XXXX'
We are running a PBX box for our small company's phone system. There are two phones on our network that are not working though.
When I reboot a phone that works correctly, like this (note 4907 is the phones extension):
asterisk -rx "sip notify polycom-check-cfg 4907"
It returns this:
Sending NOTIFY of type 'polycom-check-cfg' to '4907'

XML config files for Polycom SoundPoint IP 300?
I bought a couple Polycom Soundpoint 300's, and have them working nicely
with SIP... but I'd like to be able to do automatic config via FTP, but it
requires some XML config files. The docs discuss them in detail, but I
can't seem to d/l them from Polycom. [No, it doesn't appear to be on the
CD that comes with the phone.] I've created an account at Polycom's tech

Swaping out phones.
I have a quick question. I am using Asterisk 1.4. I have a user that has changed phones (grandstream budge tone 200 to a polycom 330). I have changed the sip.conf and extensions.conf. I have also unplugged the old phone and plugged in the new phone. I get the ext showing on the phone, but when I do a sip show peer 5000 the old ip address and phone show up. I did a sip reload and a dialplan reload.

polycom soundpoint 300 sip phone and hold music
I have an extension setup in my extensions.conf for hold music. ext. 600.
If I pick up a phone (polycom soundpoint 300 sip) and dial extension 600
I hear the hold music playing. If I call another extension and pick it
up and put the call on hold with the hold button on the phone I hear
nothing at all. Does anyone have any experience with these phones and
getting the hold button to work?

Polycom boot server problem
Hi,
I'm trying to configure a Polycom IP Phone SoundPoint
500 to connect it to my Asterisk PBX but with no
success.
First of all, I downloaded the SoundPoint IP SIP
Administration guide I found on internet and then I
tried to make a boot server creating an FTP account on
my Mandrake 9.1 Linux box but I needed the following
files:
000000000000.cfg
sip.cfg
phone1.cfg
ipmid.cfg
sip.ld

Polycom SoundPoint 501
Hi
We've setup an Asterisk PBX recently and I encountered the following
problem: When [mac address]-registration.cfg file includes the FQDN of
the Asterisk PBX for the Polycom SoundPoint 501 phones it will not (even
try to) register with the Asterisk PBX unless the DNS (it asks)
successfully resolves the name: _sip._udp.[Asterisk FQDN]. Did this
happen to anyone else?

Polycom SoundPoint 600 : 10 seconds of delay when answering a call.
Hello everyone, I have just received 3 brand new Polycom SoundPoint IP
600 from "voipsupply.com" and I have the exact same problem on all of
them. When I receive a call, the phone is ringing correctly but when I
answer it, it takes exactly 10 seconds before I can hear the caller. I
also have SoundPoint 300 and 301 and I don't have that problem with
those. I'm using Asterisk

Linksys/Sipura SPA-3201 FXO/FSA with Asterisk
All,
I am looking at a little support on this, as I haven't found it on
google yet. I have had this work on Callweaver, but am moving to
Asterisk for a variety of reasons. My dial plans, and everything else
transferred perfectly, though I am not sure they are 'correct' for
Asterisk 1.6.1, with simple things like SIP users outlined in the
sip.conf file, not in the users file,

Polycom DTMF
Problem:
Polycom SoundPoint IP phones (running SIP) ceases to send DTMF that
Asterisk can detect and use. It worked in 1.0.5, but has not worked
since. This has been verified on SoundPoint IP 300's and SoundPoint IP
600's.
Workaround:
It used to be that for DTMF to work, I had to set the mode in
sip.conf to "inband". Without making any configuration changes on the

Polycom Dialplan Digitmaps
I'm replacing a SoundPoint IP 600 with a SoundPoint IP 650.
I attempted to simply reuse the existing config files for the old phone
on the new phone, but the new phone would lock up on the 4th digit when
attempted to dial out certain numbers. So, I downloaded the newest
firmware and config templates from Polycom, and attempted to migrate the
settings. Seems I'm missing something from

Polycom SoundPoint IP by Shoreline
I've got a couple Shoreline IP phones, their Shoreline model number is
Shoreline IP 100. I believe this is actually a Polycom SoundPoint IP 300
phone. I believe the phone is using a MGCP stack.
I want to use it for testing with Asterisk.
1. I suspect I need to re-image the phone to make it work with *.
2. How can I preserve the current image on the phone?
3. What is preferred image to use

Question about Polycom SoundPoint 500
Hi Folks;
I just bought a Polycom SoundPoint 500 off of ebay after having spent
way too much time trying to get updated sip images for our cisco phones.
The phone I bought didn't have an AC power adapter; Could someone
please tell me the volts & amps that the dc plug that comes with the
phone puts out?
Thanks!

OK, I'm stumped
I'm trying to make an AMI call. I want to call a number, play an
announcement when the call is answered, then call a second number and
connect the two when the second call is answered.
I an able to make a simple call to two numbers and connect them using
the manager API but playing the announcement has me beat.
Suggestions anyone?
