Junghanns 4 port BRI problem
Hi All I have a Junghanns BRI 4 port installed where only the first channel of each line is working i.e. channels 1 and 4 work but 2 and 5 don't. Our config is the same on this box as 15 other similar installations where all works well. the only error I see is in /var/log/messages: Jun 28 15:49:31 pbxct kernel: qozap: CRC error for HDLC frame on card 1 (cardID 0) S/T port 2 Jun 28 15:51:27

Sangoma BRI card -- National ISDN/North America support (Having problems with analog disconnect supervision?)
Hi, folks! Sangoma has an informal user survey up on their home page (at http://www.sangoma.com) asking if people would use their A500 card for North American BRI, if it were supported. I encourage anyone with an interest in voice BRI in North America to vote; this information will be used for deciding whether to make the investment in developing a National ISDN driver layer for it. Benefits to

how can PRI, BRI and analog cards achieve a synchronous clock / timing
hello list, i have a problem regarding the synchronisity (clock source) when using multiple cards. e.g. when having connected one PRI port of our TE410P to the telco, i need to have the analog card like the TDM400P or a B410P synchronous to the clock of our telco provider. otherwise faxing on the analog cards does not work or i get cracking noise or even hangups on my BRI lines, due to bit slips.

Interface card for Euro-ISDN (BRI)
Hi, I'm looking for an interface card for termination of Euro-ISDN2 (BRI) lines. That is ISDN lines from the telco into my Asterisk box. Any recommendations, good/bad expiriences ? At present I'm looking at cards from BeroNet and Junghanns. Cheers, John Faroese Telecom

receiving fax with junghanns quadbri bristuff
Hey, anyone know if it's possible to receive faxes through a Junghanns bristuff quadbri card? In germany, currently I have faxes coming in on DID line into QuadBRI and then passing to Digium TDM400 (analog) and into faxmachine. But the reliability of TDM card is spotty, so I want to maybe just accept faxes in on ISDN card and save on asterisk system ...? keeping digital signal strong ...

ISDN BRI active adapters with NT mode - any alternatives ?
Having ISDN FXOs and a bunch of ISDN DECT base stations, I went looking for a CAPI compatible active BRI adapter capable of NT mode. I have found that the 'Eicon Diva Server 4BRI' fulfills theses requirements. However, at EUR 1387 for four BRI interfaces, it does not come cheap. Are there other users of similar hardware that can point me to alternatives ?

4 port BRI options ?
Hi there I am in the UK.. and am running latest asterisk on FC1 (2.4 kernel). I would like to know what the best option is for a 4 port BRI card. I notice Digium don't provide one.. I have heard the Junghanns do one...but are there others ?? Is the Junghanns card reliable/stable with good sound quality ?? I notice it is very expensive in a per port comparison with the Digium cards.... hence

Junghanns QuadBRI stable?
Hi, I have an asterisk box with a QuadBRI. I am close to make it work like I want: Incoming calls to SIP are OK, outgoing calls are quiet working thanks to Michael Sandee advices. My real problem is that my * box is freezing very often when I probe qozap (bri-stuff 0.0.2). I have tried two distribs (Debian Kernel 2.6, Mandrake 9.1 Kernel 2.4) and it always work for a few minutes and freezes. At

module load order for Junghanns qozap and TDM card
Hi all, I'm trying to get a junghanns QuadBRI to coexist in the same machine as a Digium TDM400P card (so I can run the ISDN lines in and bridge with analog phones plugged into the TDM). I'm having a problem loading the modules. If I follow the BRIstuff (0.3.0-pre-1l) install method.... it's to modprobe zaptel, then insmod qozap.o I'm on Debian 2.4.31. That works. But then I

BRI Newbie - What Hardware, PCI, in the US?
We are looking to lose the TDM400P in favor of an ISDN-BRI solution. This should get rid of static on the line (at least any static generated by our half of the circuit), right? I am a total virgin to ISDN. I understand that we need two BRI circuits to provide four voice channels, and that the hardware to speak to the BRI circuits can be passive or active, with the active type being much more

Anyone using National ISDN (NI-1) BRI under Linux?
I have a North American BRI configured as National ISDN (NI-1) on an SBC (Nortel?) switch. SBC calls this "FastTrak ISDN", and it's surprisingly inexpensive -- less than two POTS lines. I've been trying to find an inexpensive PCI interface solution to connect this to Asterisk as voice lines. I prefer ISDN BRI over POTS lines because of the improved signalling, fast dialing,

Zapata, Junghanns Card and a leading 0 on inbound calls
Hi, I'm using a Junghanns Quadbri ISDN card on some lines from the Austrian Telekom. Things are working, the only missing stuff is to add a "0" as a prefix to each incoming call, to make it possible to answer missed call lists. I'm using the 0 as the prefix for outside lines. I've experimented a little with the prefix settings in zapata.conf, but without success:

cdr-csv / Zaptel BRI / full number not stored (missing leading zeroes)
Hi, I'm using a ZaptelBRI card. It works fine. But I have a small problem with call logs. The leading zeroes of the external calling party are not stored (e.g. : 0140302010 will be stored as 140302010). Same for international numbers for which "00" will be stripped out. I would not mind if the cdr record would give me an indication of the call's origin (national or

best ISDN BRI solution for DID
I want to test asterisk with its DID functions on a smaller scale without the expense of a PRI. I am in the US, and want the most reliable/stable, and feature rich solution that I can have. What ISDN card would be reccommended? My clec switch operator says he can/will send DID info to my BRI's if I wish. Can Asterisk, or one of its addons support this? What BRI solution would be

Anyone here using JUNGHANNS.net douBRI 2.0 ISDN ?
Hi, I'm very new to asterisk and managed to set one up in debian, I installed via apt-get the asterisk and asterisk-bristuff packages. I downloaded the bristuff source as well. I managed to get as far as loading the following modules: zaptel 199144 4 cwain, zaphfc, zttranscode, ztdummy But the problem now is that all channels that I try to configure gives me an error that

BRI and PRI together possible?
Hi, I plan to setup an * Server with a TE10P PRI card as E1 and a BN4S0 4 Port BRI card in one box. I tried it first with the bristuff drivers from Junghanns. The BRI card worked fine alone, but as soon as I load the zaptel driver for the TE110P the BRI card says, that the port is down. So I tried it with mISDN. But it seems that this stuff is still unstable (Asterisk refuses to start at first

Junghanns Bristuff PRI indication
Hi I've got a few 8 port Junghanns BRI ISDN cards. Dialling in and out is working fine but the Telco's busy or invalid number indications are not being passed through to the user. I have priindication=passthrough in my zapata.conf but this doesn't seem to help. I'm using Asterisk 1.2.13, Zaptel 1.2.10 and Bristuff 0.3.0-PRE-1v. This is happening on three different boxes that
