Queue stats
Greetings, list! My boss would like some statistics on how many calls are answered out of specific queues during a given time period, and I'm not sure how exactly to obtain those stats. Here's how our queue system works. 1) Call comes in and enters our 'ring' queue where the phones ring for 15 seconds (caller hears the standard ring tone). 2) After 15 seconds, the caller

It sounds like you've got quite the queue setup (although I don't quite see why your calls jump out and back into the moh queue). All the of queue

SIP MESSAGE outside calls - state of the art?
I have a mobile phone (UTStarCom GF-210) that uses SIP MESSAGE to send "SMS" messages over VoIP. My Asterisk 1.4 installation drops these messages and returns a failure condition to the phone: [Feb 9 10:17:22] WARNING[11960]: chan_sip.c:9859 receive_message: Received message to <sip:2542 at firedrake.org> from "Display Name" <sip:mob776 at

No MOH with parked call
Hi, Has anybody else noticed that MOH does not play on parked calls in 1.6.2.14? Or is it just my setup? MOH seems to work in every other respect (Call Held or in-Queue), but when a call is parked, the logs show MOH being started, but the parked party hears nothing. The verbose logs show the following. Any thoughts on whet to check next? Thanks, Steve ### Call comes in here and is answered

More HEAD wierdness (chan_sip, jitterbuffer/PLC problems)
Hello, After checking out CVS HEAD from yesterday (for those new PLC/Jitterbuffer patches), I was affected by bug 3795 with my Polycom IP600's. After seing it resolved as of this morning (thanks Mark), I decided to try again... I can answer incoming calls. No problem there. Putting calls on hold, however, results in my Polycom IP600 indicating the call on hold, but the caller does

Asterisk stops MOH on transfer
Hello, i?ve a problem i dont find the reason for. An incoming call coming over iax is connected to a Sip phone. Until the phone picks up the call i could hear moh without problems. Then the phone sets the call on hold and opens another call to another extension. The incoming call hears the Hold music and also the call to the other extension hears another moh. Everything works so far as it

MoH - always starting from the beginning
Hi, I have a customer running a 120 second long WAV file on their MoH. The problem is that it's always starting from the beginning, so people being put on hold, talked to, put on hold again, etc always hear the first 10-15 seconds. Is there a way to have Asterisk MoH remember where it left off? Or at the very least just play the same stream to all people using the same MoH class, so

Remote hold on PRI
Hi everybody We have a strange problem with several asterisk servers (Version 1.4.11) using PRI cards (tied to telco here in Belgium). Indeed we noticed that whenever a local user places an outgoing call through the PRI (and telco) to another IPBX (tied to telco using BRI or PRI), if the remote party places the call on hold, the caller hears the _local_ music on hold instead of the

MOH
I am having a strange problem with MOH. Say I have two users, A and B. I can set MOH in the extension for B and if A calls B and B hits hold, A will hear B's hold music. If however A hits hold, it goes to the default music. If I pull the setmusiconhold from extensions.conf and use musicclass in sip.conf under the peer A, I get the same thing. Peer A has musicclass set and A calls B and B

Dial option G - Passing parameters?
Has anyone used the G option with the Dial app? I'm looking for a way to control the called party leg. Specifically, I'd like to pass a few variables to the called side for some call control. Here's a synopsis of what I'm doing: Make outbound call w/ AMI Originate action. Called party answers ("Customer") Customer identifies himself, and now I use Dial w/ the G

Music on Hold
Hi, I have trouble getting MOH to work after an upgrade from asterisk 1.4 to 1.6.1.4. The call goes on hold, MOH is started, and then stops right away. Here are the files both of type .raw: Tsunami*CLI> moh show files Class: default File: /etc/asterisk/musiconhold/Fr?d?ric Chopin - Polonaises Op. 40-2 File: /etc/asterisk/musiconhold/Fr?d?ric Chopin - Polonaises Op. 40-1 These files

Unable to transfer external calls to MeetMe conference
I have a peculiar situation, and am hoping someone on the list can offer assistance. I am running CVS HEAD, and am using ITSPs for DIDs. The server has no Zap hardware, but is configured to use ztdummy. All incoming calls are via IAX2. Calls ring to SIP phones, voice mail, IVR, etc., with no trouble. I am also able to transfer calls among my SIP devices, voice mail, IVR, etc. All of my SIP

Any Ideas
Has anyone come up with any ideas on how to place a call on hold and have them use MOH, with out having to park the call? This is using a analog phone. I know you can hit flash or # but that just gives me dial tone. I need to come up with a solution that the user can place the caller on hold, the caller here MOH and the user hang the receiver up. Just as if they hit, the hold button on the

Music on Hold doesn't play back for external callers
Hey all; I am experiencing an issue with music on Hold. I am running asterisk version 1.4.22, and have a default script set up in two places for MoH playback. For internal devices to my network that are SIP peering with asterisk, they simply dial 123 and hear the MoH music immediately. I'm using the default setup, where it just plays the wave files in the /var/lib/asterisk/moh directory. I
