It seems to me that it introduces mechanical constraints that seem difficult to comply with as space between cards is set by Remora expansion card. Your advice ? What happens if you take out the Zaptel I/F's? I have a AEX800 PCI Express card - sort of a TDM800 with PCI-Express. (or AEX844 - 4FXS & 4FXO) I downloaded Asterisk Now - and have got this loaded on a new motherboard (Intel with 3 PCI, 3 PCI Express - etc). I am trying to get a zaptel install converted to dahdi. I can get dahdi installed, and the pseudo device even shows up; however, dahdi show channels shows me nothing. There is a TE122 and a TDM800 in there, and neither show up. dahdi show status shows both cards, and dahdi tools show that the cards are there, working, and have no alarms. What am I missing? Hi all, With the gamut of FXO cards out there, I'm looking for a recommendation for home use. I have a nicely working Asterisk 1.4 system that just requires an FXO card to connect my NTL PSTN to it. Thanks. I think our problem ca be similar. Have you tried to call from analog phone #1 to another analog phone #2? It works. But when you try to call vice versa from #2 to #1 it does not work.
