AgentMonitorOutgoing question
This is my nth post regarding this matter.
Where in the dialplan should I put AgentMonitorOutgoing? Can somebody
show me how to use it?
in extensions.conf:
exten => x,1,AgentMonitorOutgoing(c)
in agents.conf I set updatecdr to yes.
It supposed to put agent/agent id in the "channel" column in the CDR,
but instead it puts SIP/<extension number>.

WHAT happened to AgentMonitorOutgoing(c) in Asterisk 1.4.5 ??
Recently installed 1.4.5, and still unfortunate to find out that the 'c'
option in AgentMonitorOutgoing() still doesn't work ('c' - change the CDR so
that the source of the call is 'Agent/agent_id'). It wont change the source
channel column in the CDR to 'Agent/agent_id' like it used to in 1.4.2 and
other releases older than that.
I hope this gets fixed in the

CDR / billsec / originate / local chan
Hi All,
I have been running a environment with asterisk 1.4.20.1 for some time
now with no issue but have recently added some extra functionality
(enabled call recording via MixMonitor) and ran into some deadlock
issues which seem to be well documented with earlier 1.4.x releases so
have decided to take the plunge and upgrade. I decided to start testing
with 1.6.2 but have run into a couple

createlink with out agents in 1.4
Hi,
I am moving my call center to 1.4. Previously I was recording calls in
agents.conf with the following config
recordagentcalls=yes
recordformat=wav
createlink=yes
So I had the filename in all calls which was *connected to agents*. I
am looking for a similar functionality for 1.4.
I am now recording calls using the following configuration.

dialplan for monitoring outbound calls
I wanted to use AgentMonitorOutgoing(c) to know which agent made an
outbound call. Its supposed to record the agent id to the channels
column in the CDR, but it doesn't.
I put it on priority one, after an agent makes an outbound call
Does anyone have an example that uses this feature and works?

Bug no. 8680 (billsec is 0 even when the call is answered) in Asterisk 1.4.2
We recently installed Asterisk 1.4.2
Tried to make calls using the Originate command (Asterisk Manager Interface)
All of the calls have zero billsec in the CDR.
Stumbled upon this:
http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=8680
so I guess the fix is not yet in 1.4.2.
Is this fixed in 1.4.3/1.4.4?

Installing Asterisk on Mandrake 10.1 Official
I have a pretty basic Mandrake 10.2 w/KDE 3.2 and I installed Asterisk-1.0.1-2mdk. I installed the source of main and contrib from ftp, so at the install time I accepted all the packages needed to be installed too.
The installation went smooth, but when I try to execute asterisk (#asterisk -vvv) I encounter few warnings I end with an error. At this point I didn't touch any conf file, I was

installing asterisk for Ubuntu Synaptic
I have an Ubuntu system and went into Synaptic and checked asterisk for
installation. Once installed, I started it with /usr/sbin/asterisk -vvvgc
and got the following output with several errors and notices. Do I need to
do more or are these ok? I expected to have some conf files in
/etc/asterisk but there is nothing there.
Thanks!

Condensing queue CDRs into single entry
Hi,
When a call is made to a queue and picked up by agents at least 2 CDR
entries are made, one from local to the agent's (sip) phone, and from
incoming line to Agent. There are other entries generated when other
conditions happen, like agent do not pickup phones and so on.
Going through the cdr entries, there seems to be no common filelds by
which all entries belonging to a single call can

CDR
Hi
I have a question if there was a major change in CDR?
Few days ago I have upgraded to 1.4.12.1 from 1.4.4 and something bizarre
happened. After the upgrade I have no call details in the cdr table when the
call did not go through because of for example: Unable to create the channel
of type Sip - no route to destination. In such situation the call does not
exist in the cdr table while it was

autodialed call forwarding via meetme or queue (was predictive dialer)
Also posting this question to people working on manager interface and
dialers.
I have a simple auto dialing script (using Originate) that forwards all
incoming calls to a queue full of waiting agents instead of a meetme
conference room. I use queues rather than meetme so I can leave the
automatic call distribution to the queue itself.
The problem is when the calls reach the agents, some of the

CDR on channel 'IAX2/u92613106-3' already started
Hi all,
I'm having a problem with an asterisk server being unable to call certain
cellphones and answering machines. Anytime the person answers the phone
call, everything works well. But when the call goes to voicemail or an
answering machine, I get the error message below:

Custom CDR Help
So, it's been a while and I am just lately getting back into Asterisk stuff.
I am trying to remember/understand how CDR works and after lots of trial and
error and searching the archives, google etc, I am stuck and have a few
questions.
I have setup custom CDR and am trying to figure out the following:

Just wondering if any new CDR functionality made it into the 1.4.16.2 release? I have looked through the ChangeLog for the 1.4.15 and 1.4.16.2 releases but didn't spot anything to do with changes in CDR handling.

Logging In / Out Agents on Asterisk 6 ???
Hi everybody
Did anybody by any chance ever work out how to log in and out agents on
Asterisk 6+?
I used to have it working perfect in Asterisk 1.2 but since I upgraded to 6
the agent login functions are gone and the readme file that came with it
made no sense to me.
I noticed somebody on the net posted that they had the same problem but used
Voicemail to authenticate users, but that seemed a
