Hi all, I'm having a problem with an asterisk server being unable to call certain cellphones and answering machines. Anytime the person answers the phone call, everything works well. But when the call goes to voicemail or an answering machine, I get the error message below: ====================================*CLI> -- Attempting call on IAX2/u92613106/15551234567 for exte@context:1 (Retry 1) -- Call accepted by xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (format alaw) -- Format for call is alaw [May 23 20:37:36] NOTICE[13913]: cdr.c:430 check_start: CDR on channel 'IAX2/u92613106-3' already started -- Hungup 'IAX2/u92613106-3' [May 23 20:37:36] WARNING[13913]: cdr.c:760 ast_cdr_init: CDR already initialized on '**Unknown**' [May 23 20:37:36] NOTICE[13913]: cdr.c:430 check_start: CDR on channel '**Unknown**' already started ==================================== When the call fails, my friend does hear the phone ring. BTW, I'm running Asterisk 1.4.4. Does anyone know how to fix this? TIA, -- Mike Diehl

Exactly which version of 1.4 are you using? Have you tried the latest SVN version? I made some fixes concerning check_start. murf -- Steve Murphy <murf@parsetree.com> Digium
