HasNewVoicemail does not find voicemailbox, but files exist
Hi,
the app HasNewVoiceMail can't find my voicemail. This is the errormessage:

/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/25/(null) does not exist
however this is the output of lspbx:~# ls -l

Converting .wav to .WAV
Hi,
how can I convert .wav files to .WAV:

lam vs. openmpi
Dear R Debian Users:
I wrote a quick C program (eventually to become R code) and compiled it as:
mpicc -o greet greet.c
So far so good. Now when I run mpirun, this happens:
erin at erin-laptop:~$ mpirun -np 2 greet
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems that there is no lamd running on the host erin-laptop.

Voicemail Directory
Hi All-
I am running into a small problem trying to implement voicemail
Directory(). I'm sure it is a simple thing, but I can't figure out
where the problem lies.
I can get into the directory without a problem and can look up users
by their last names, however I hit a snag when asterisk says "if this
is the person you are looking for press 1 now". When I hit 1, the

new to prototype : Ajax.Updater
hey guys..
im a prototype rookie here..
the concept of "a framework for javascript" seemed mouth watering..

Voicemail issues in 1.4.11
Asterisk isn't playing my voicemail greetings even though they are defined. Below are the relevant configs(from show dialplan) as well as the level 3 verbose messages asterisk is giving. Also a listing of the directory.
Asterisk just plays the "The person at extension..." message, not the greetings I have recorded.

Saving Rcpp Objects for Future Use
Hello,
I have recently been doing some research regarding how to successfully save
and load Rcpp Objects ( objects from modules ) for future use, but with
little success. For example, to use the example package (from package
skeleton) in Rcpp:

Queue Announcements for Operators
Hi All
I would like to be able to have an announcement played to an operator advising them of the queue the call came from before the call is pasted over to them, so they know how to greet the customer.
Does anyone have any ideas or can point me to some resource which details this?

Don't enter a queue if no one is logged in
I currently have the following setup:
exten => 2000,1,Playback(/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/Greeting)
exten => 2000,2,Queue(Qabcdef|t)
exten => 2000,3,Playback(/var/lib/asterisk/sounds/EveryonesBusy)
exten => 2000,4,Hangup
exten => 2000,103,Hangup
What happens is, that the greeting in step one is played regardless if
anyone is logged into the queue. So immediately after the greet, we

Posix vs. Windows File/Directory Permissions
I want to get a better understanding of what's happening between the posix
permissions and windows permissions.
I start with a Samba 4 AD DC with a share: /mnt/data
All subfolders and files have permissions and ownership that look like:
drwxrwxrwx. 539 root root 52K May 12 17:50
The Samba 4 Admin and User accounts are not local users on the linux
server; they are only AD domain accounts.

doing many commands within R
Dear all,
I'm new to this list, so let me greet everyone.
My problem is that I have several thousand data files which I want to
perform a lot of R commands on, which are found in a seperate .R script.
Now, what I did was within the R prompt, I used to read in a list of the
