FW: Polycom 501 issue with latest firmware : sluggish keys
Somebody was helpful enough to give me the very latest release of Polycom's
firmware (2.1.0). Unfortunately, I still get that issue.
So I'm stuck asking again: Anybody ever got that?

CISCO 2600 - VWIC 1MFT-E1
Hi to all,
I got a Cisco 2651XM wired to an E1 PRI.
What I want to do is to pass all incoming calls to my asterisk.
This is my actual conf:
http://pastebin.ca/270677
with this I'm able to call my number from outside, but the call stop on the
2600, infact I can hear the tone, but I'm not able to forward calls to my
asterisk.
Anyone got an idea of my errors?
Thanks to all.

Polycom 501 issue with latest firmware : sluggish keys
Hi,
I've upgraded a few Polycom 501 to SIP 2.0.3b (can't get 2.1.0 because of
Polycom's firmware policy, but this is the "latest publicly available" from
Polycom's web site).
I've noticed that some keys get "sticky" though. Soft buttons for example
(i.e. "end call") need to be pressed 2-3 times for them to react. I've

"Sticky" Polycom 501 keys and handset
Hi,
I've recently bought new Polycom 501 phones, upgraded to bootrom 3.2.2 and
SIP 2.0.1. I just noticed something, which I first blamed on Asterisk and
NATs (a 2 second silence at the beginning of a call). Something I've
noticed also on my old phone (which is having the same problem now, but its
also been upgraded).
My keys are sticky. Simple as that. Sometimes I press a number

sluggish behavior
Greetings,
This is my first stab at this mailing list. Forgive me if I am over/under
verbose.
We have been running KVM for a while now and love it. Recently I have
noticed a weird anomaly
that is getting on my nerves. When I clone (GUI or virt-clone from CLI)
both* virt-manager* and *virsh*
enquiries get extremely sluggish. Using top I cannot see any resource
issues. No I/O wait, the load

sluggish stream problem - help
Hi,
I am a newbie here. I just tried to set up mp3 streamer server on Redhat
Linux 7.2, using icecast and shout. I then tried to connect to the
server, from another machine and different LAN, using xmms. And the
stream is so sluggish, it gets cuts off for every 2 seconds or so.
Both LANs (the server and where I am connected from) are T1. My mp3 was
all encoded in 128 KBps. I then asked someone

Sluggish throughput with htb
All,
I have been using the following as a means of rate limiting access to the Internet via eth0 (which connects to my cable modem) and it was working great with my 2.4.20 kernel:

tc class add dev eth0 parent 1: classid 1:1 htb rate 486kbit ceil 486kbit

Sluggish UI in KDE
Slackware 10.0. Wine version whatever was current a month ago, how do I tell
what wine version I have? Anyhow, I'm experience two issues:
I have KDE setup with 4 virutual desktops. If I'm running WinMX via wine,
and if I try to switch to a different desktop, it immediately switches back.
I basically can't use the other desktops because I can't switch to them.
Also, I can't

SAMBA running sluggish for Windows XP clients
Hello,
I'm running into issues with SAMBA 3 running slow for users on Windows XP connecting to our RHEL 6.3 SAMBA server. The RHEL clients seem to have no issues at all with speed while connecting to the RHEL server.
Our old SAMBA 2 server was running on Solaris 10 and the Windows XP clients did not have this kind of slowdown.

WinXP exhibits sluggish graphics window movement & mouse tracking (repainting?) over windows graphics devices
I just noticed when using 2.6.1, 2.6.2 (2008-02-08), 2.6.2pat
(2008-02-21 r44582), and 2.6.2pat (2008-03-24 r44975) on my poor old
Celeron D330 (2.6 GHz; 3.5 years old) running Windows XP, that the
mouse cursor appears to be redrawn more sluggishly when the pointer is
over R windows graphics devices than over the R console window or
other applications' windows. The slowdown seems to start only

KVM on CentOS 7 - sluggish performance with Win10 Guest
Hey all,
I've been running a Win10 Pro (64bit) guest for some time now.... and originally it was pretty snappy and I had no complaints.
Somewhere in about the last 3-6 months I've been noticing sluggish performance -- but not overall.
The system is mostly remote so I do a lot of my admin via RDP or the local console with the KVM Manager.
I recently did a complete fresh install of

sluggish stream problem - help
Hi Reuben,
I think I remember having the same issue when I first used icecast. I think
from the best of my memory I swapped from using shout to IceS and this
solved the issue.
I could be wrong though my memory isn't too good and you may actually be
experiencing something totally different than me, however I would say with
your bandwidth a 128 stream shouldn't be a problem.
Hope this is

Voipbuster blocking Asterisk/IAX connections?
What settings are people using? I've seen the ones from dslreports but
I'm in that lucky group of people that paid the 1 euro just to have it
no longer work. Even after I setup a additional account over the
weekend it still doesn't work. And, of course, etherreal only shows
encrypted traffic so I can't snag any config settings from it.
Any assistance?

scriptaculous: Drag/Drop Sluggish Animation (release animation time should be proportional to remaining distance)
Thomas suggested posting these here so they don''t get
lost.
Making Scriptaculous Snappy:
*) Drag/Drop - make release cost proportional to
remaining distance
For drag/drop - change the ''release'' animation time to
be proportional to the remaining distance the dropped
item has to travel. If a user drags the item almost
all the way to the final location, the release time

Sluggish Samba
Hi,
I took the plunge and installed the latest version of OpenBSD
3.6 and SAMBA 3.0.11 (this because I found a patch for the
OBSD ports tree).
So I now have all that up and running. Both my XP box and
my Audiotron can get to the SAMBA shares.
I did this upgrade because the problem I'm about to describe
is exactly the same as before I upgraded from 3.4 OBSD, 2.x
Samba. I know others
