BRI and PRI together possible?
Hi,
I plan to setup an * Server with a TE10P PRI card as E1 and a BN4S0 4 Port
BRI card in one box.
I tried it first with the bristuff drivers from Junghanns. The BRI card
worked fine alone, but as soon as I load the zaptel driver for the
TE110P the BRI card says, that the port is down.
So I tried it with mISDN. But it seems that this stuff is still unstable

[Asterisk-Dev] Severe ISDN signal distortion in CVS-HEAD with octoBRI
BUG/SYMPTOMS:
1.Under certain circumstances, octoBRI (and most likely quadBRI) ISDN
cards (Junghanns/CologneChip) severely distort certain ISDN payload.
2.Although these claims relate to the bristuff patch, the problem might
not be limited to bristuff and in fact be rather asterisk/zaptel/libpri
related.
3.Signal distortion is limited to the use of the CVS version of the

Fax trouble with HP 3330mfp (again)
I'm using Asterisk 1.09 with bristuff 0.2.0-RC8n, one BRI line and a
Sipura SPA-2000. I have a HP LaserJet 3330mfp all-in-one. I can receive
faxes but not send them. The faxes start whistling to each other but the
transmission is stopped with a "communication error"
To receive a fax I have this in my dialplan:
exten => 0000000000,1,Ringing
exten => 0000000000,2,zapEC(off)

CentOS 4.1 x86_64 compiler segfaults
Hi list!
I am running CentOS 4.1 x86_64 on an Athlon64.
The box was installed only yesterday. Yesterday I was still able to compil
stuff, yesterday even the tiniest and simplest programs fail to compile
always with internal compiler error: Segmentation fault.
For example:
make -C /usr/src/linux-2.6 SUBDIRS=/tmp/bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n/qozap
ZAP=-I/tmp/bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n/zaptel-1.0.9 modules

mISDN BRI Asterisk 1.4
Good Evening,
The company I work for is attempting to connect an Cisco ISDN Router to an OpenVOX B200P BRI Card so that we can get it to dial out across an existing ISDN PRI Line also installed in the Asterisk PBX
Everything has compiled successfully and the BRI card has been detected when mISDN is started:
# misdnportinfo

Why would you want to do that? Sorry if I missed the start of the problem
but qozap is what you want to use with your Junghanns card (at least if you
want to stay with zaptel/libpri).

Fw: Re: mISDN BRI Asterisk 1.4
Have you got termination set correctly?
I have a B410P working with 2 x NT and 2 x TE ports successfully.
I had to turn the 100ohm termination on on the NT ports (even though I
have them set as PTP in mISDN.conf).

Beronet BN4S0 (quad BRI) card, echo cancel, zaptel timing, bristuff ...
Hi,
I guess I'd need to run Beronet quad and octo bri cards under bristuff to
get zaptel features (echo canceling, timing source).... Am I right or could
I achieve this also with chan_misdn - their native driver ?
Running bristuff on Beronet cards is unsupported. Has anyone succesfully run
Beronet quad BRI cards under bristuff recently ? Do they work ?

Rob.

Beronet BN4S0 instalation
I'm having trouble installing Beronet BN4S0 card. I have downloaded instructions from here
http://www.beronet.com/download/card_installation_guide.pdf
And when I download install-misdn-mqueue[1].tar.gz I untar it and execute "make" and "make install". This is the output that I get.

What quad/octo BRI cards are best/stable for EuroISDN and Asterisk ?

What would you buy ?

Hi,

Problem when i make a DATA CALL
We have here a TandBerg "videoconferencing system" connected in asterisk

channels through the BN4S0 BRI Card. But, i'm only obtaining audio calls,

Asterisk 1.4 and ISDN-BRI support
Hi list,
Has anyone been able to get ISDN-BRI support to work reliably on
Asterisk 1.4? If so, I'd love to know how you did it (hardware,
distro, kernel, modules, versions, config files).
I've tried to get it to work on a Debian etch system with an HFC-PCI
card and the zaptel package (v1.4.7, also from xorcom.com), but with
no luck: all three channels that are created when the

debian/dahdi/zaphfc - Unable to receive TEI from network!
Hello,
The harddisk of my etch/bristuffed asterisk1.2 box finally died. I moved
the cheap (1397:2bd0) HFC-S card to a squeeze host (i686) and built
dahdi modules 2.3.0.1 using m-a. After zaptel->dahdi and asterisk
1.2->1.6 config adaptations, everything seems ok, except for the BRI
side, unable to bring layers 1/2 up.

Junghanns 4 port BRI problem
Hi All
I have a Junghanns BRI 4 port installed where only the first channel
of each line is working i.e. channels 1 and 4 work but 2 and 5 don't.
Our config is the same on this box as 15 other similar installations
where all works well. the only error I see is in /var/log/messages:
Jun 28 15:49:31 pbxct kernel: qozap: CRC error for HDLC frame on card 1

bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n problems and kernel panic
Hi list!
On a newly installed RHEL 4 box I'm trying to install bristuff-0.2.0-RC8n.
Everything did compile but I am running into some problems with the zaphfc
driver.
First of all when I load zaphfc *before* zaptel (yes I know I shouldn't do
that) I get a kernel panic and the box hangs. Not so nice, especially when
you are trying to fix stuff from remote locations. But ok.

Junghans Quad-BRI card and asterisk cvs-head
We're using the Quad-BRI card from Junghanns.NET with corresponding
drivers (bristuff 0.0.2).
The driver tries to patch asterisk libpri, which fails for current
version.
Anyone got an idea what'S the latest version of asterisk / libtri usable
with the Quad-BRI Card?
Thanks, Martin

vzaphfc?
Hi list!
I'm totally fed up with bristuff (or it's instability with a simple HFC-S
card), 2 out of 3 times when people try to call they get the information
tone that the number is not connected.
I would like to try vzaphfc and I am looking for information on it.

Bristuff qozap drivers problem
Hi,
For a significant time now (since about 0.2.0-rc8n) the qozap driver
has become very verbose if an ISDN line is not connected... I get the
messages below every couple of seconds in the asterisk logs.
The "flaw" in the messages is the "Alarm cleared" message - The alarm
cannot possibly be cleared because there is no physical media
connected into that port!!! (BTW - All
