ztdummy: rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz.
Hi,
I'm getting crazy about ztdummy. I have to replicate a PBX where ztdummy
is working fine but for some reason I cannot.
The two machines have the same kernel, motherboard, the same gcc version
and the same zaptel 1.4.8. On the second machine zaptel compiles without
errors and ztdummy.ko is generated but when I modprobe it I get the
following error in messages:
rtc: lost some interrupts

rtc in /proc/interrupts
Hi - I am using centos 4.6 on an ebox 4300. Everything seems to be
working except the
/proc/interrupts rtc is always constant. On other machines the rtc
(which ztdummy from asterisk) is always incrementing.
the uhci_hcd and ehci_hcd are both running.
What can cause this?

Problems with ztdummy
I'm having trouble with ztdummy and I can't seem to figure it out. I
am running Zaptel 1.4.12.1 under Debian 4.0 with latest updates
applied and I have compiled Zaptel from source along with a new kernel
from Debian sources to include 1khz timer support.
The modules build fine, yet when I load them I get the following
output from dmesg:
rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz

ztdummy / RTC error
It's taken me about a day just to get ztdummy to compile into a module
that the amazon ec2 xen kernel will accept (you have to downgrade the
version of gcc among other things), but now I'm getting the following
error and I'm stumped:
rtc: IRQ 8 is not free.

Xen RTC emulation
Hello,
In what we believe is now the final regression discovered when upgrading
XenServer from Xen 4.1 to 4.3, there is an issue with RTC emulation.
Win2003 SP2 is a WAET unaware operating system, whose RTC access pattern
triggers Xen''s rtc_mode_no_ack logic. The result is that the domain
falls into a tight loop reading RTC RegC, whoes value is always 0xc0.
I have confirmed that

Asterisk 1.4 with Digium B410P - Timing problem
Hi list,
we have a dual Xeon server with 2GB RAM running Debian Etch 2.6.18.4-686
kernel. The server has 2 B410P cards plugged in. No other card.
We installed Asterisk 1.4 trunk with zaptel trunk, ran make b410p, the
install mISDN1.1.0 (for bug 9064) configure and compile Asterisk with
chan_misdn, all is fine. In misdn-init.conf we have added
option=1,master_clock. Asterisk is up and

Timing source on SMP system - Disable RTC for zaprtc
Does anyone know where to disable rtc support on redhat 9.0 using make
menuconfig?
I thought I disabled it but still got the following error when trying to
make zaprtc:

zaprtc.c:719: storage size of `rtc_fops' isn't known

TE121 - Idle system load at ~0.3 - Bad DAHDI 2.2.0.2 behaviour ?!
Hi Asterisk Users,
We've been experiencing some tough time regarding a new Asterisk installation
connected to the PSTN via an ISDN PRI with a Digium TE121 with the optional
VPMADT032 echo cancellation module.
For now, I'll focus on something very specific which is summarized on this
email's subject.
However, here are some general facts for the context:

Error starting domU (centos5) on xen3.2.0 : rtc: IRQ 8 is not free
Hi.
I compiled the xen binaries and the kernel with the sources.
DomO starts without any problems, but when I run domU, it stops and freeze.
My domU is a clone of my domO.

Asterisk 1.4 and kernel panic and IRQ interrupts
Hi,
I'm having trouble with one machine that kernel panics with Asterisk 1.4.
The motherboard is an Asus P5W Deluxe.
I reported the kernel panic here:
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2009-November/241006.html
I'm now trying to understand if the problem can be an IRQ issue or not.
I disabled APIC in the BIOS because I thought that maybe it could be buggy (not sure

Xen 4.1.1 HVM guest cdrom trouble, lost interrupts, ata failed commands (frozen)
Hello,
I was testing Fedora 16 (rc2) Xen host, with included Xen 4.1.1 rpms
and Linux 3.1.0 dom0 kernel. Fedora 16 PV domUs seem to work nicely.
I noticed a problem with Fedora 16 Xen HVM guests though.
The F16 guest kernel (Linux 3.1.0) fails with the qemu-dm emulated DVD-ROM drive..
Full HVM guest kernel dmesg attached to this email.

ztdummy/rtc
Hello,
Maybe I'm missing something here. What is the proper way to use RTC
with ztdummy now?
I'm using -HEAD from a day or two ago on Linux 2.6.11.11.
In zaptel/Makefile, I changed CFLAGS to:
CFLAGS+=-I. -O4 -g -Wall -DBUILDING_TONEZONE -DUSE_RTC
#-DTONEZONE_DRIVER
and I get..
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.11.11/build SUBDIRS=/usr/src/zaptel modules

RTC Client (maybe VAD related)
Greetings,
I'm trying to create a server-based SIP chatroom (using MeetMe w/
ztdummy), where the clients will be mainly connecting with MS RTC
Clients. I got the authentication working, but am having a problem
where I can only hear audio when I am also making noise into the
microphone. This appears to be the VAD/MOH problem mentioned on this
list before.
