Hello, I am looking to purchase a new quad-band cellphone and I'm looking for one with WiFi and enough CPU power for stable SIP calls. I was wondering if anyone here can share his experience and recommend on a good cellphone. Any chance there is such a phone with even good WiFi profiles management or am I asking for too much now? :-) Thanks, Tomer.

Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with using EVDO high speed wireless broadband service under CentOS? I am looking for high speed / low cost internet connectivity for an office that is in an area without DSL or Cable. My idea was to use EVDO from either Verizon or Sprint with a PCMCIA to PCI adapter card that I could stick into a CentOS machine that is used as the router/firewall.

Hey Guys, Kind of an off the ball question, but I have a random idea. My voip provider supports caller id lookups, but charges a bit for each lookup. I'm thinking about writing a basic PHP script (through AGI) to cache these lookups for say 90 days. Is there an obvious problem with this? Hi, I have an odd problem where when a call is made to any landline phone the callerid number shows up on the caller id device with no problems. However when I call a cell phone from Sprint or Verizon it always shows up as unavaliable. I've tried multiple cell phones from each carrier. Though today I called a t-mobile phone and the callerid came through fine. Is this an * level problem

Hi, We've got IAX softphones, GrandStream VOIP phones and zaptel connected analog phones. Caller id, internally, works just fine (as long as I use numeric only callerids) for IAX and grandstream. Is there a way to have the analog phones' LCD display show the caller id? These are plain old regular analog phone, that if I had callerid from my telco would show on the screen. thanks
